Ya I just read about this. She's going to be in the hospital for all least 10 days. She was suppose to be doing a special stage with Rain on the 28th but that has been cancelled

Oh my god! That's insane, I really hope she's okay and recovers quickly. My goodness...

I am sad I don't get to see her and Rain together, but obviously she cannot perform in this state. I hope we will get an update of her progress soon. =]

omg, that's horrible. she was in the hospital just last week, now she's there again? i hope she feels better soon! i was excited to see the special stage with rain, but i'd rather her be healthy. :no

2009년 여름도 ‘효리태풍’ 소속사 “이효리 4집 컴백앨범 여름께 발표가 기본원칙”

이효리(사진)가 2009년에도 ‘여름사냥’에 나선다. 이효리는 여름 4집 음반을 발표하고 가수로 다시 돌아올 예정이다.

이효리 소속사 엠넷미디어에 따르면 아직 음반 준비에 대한 구체적인 컨셉트와 일정을 세우지는 않았지만, 일단 여름께 새 앨범으로 컴백한다는 기본 방침을 정한 상태이다.

계획대로 올 여름 앨범을 발표하면 그간 2∼3년마다 발표했던 것과 달리 이례적으로 2년 연속 앨범을 발표하게 된다.

2003년 8월 첫 솔로앨범을 발표했던 이효리는 그동안 2006년 2월 2집, 지난해 7월 3집을 발표했다.

이효리는 다른 계절에 비해 여름에 활동했을 때 큰 인기를 누렸다.

2003년 1집 타이틀곡 ‘텐 미니츠’로 ‘효리 열풍’을 일으키며 그 해 가요 시상식을 싹쓸이했고, 한국 대중문화를 대표하는 아이콘으로 떠올랐다.

지난 해 여름 발표한 3집 타이틀곡 ‘유-고-걸’은 또 한 번 그녀가 한국 연예계에서 차지하는 위치를 재확인 시켜줬다.

엠넷미디어의 한 관계자는 “아직 새 앨범에 관한 구체적인 움직임은 없지만 여름에 발표하는 것이 가장 좋은 시기로 보고 있다”고 말했다.

한편 지난 연말 폐렴증세와 영양부족상태로 쓰러져 입원했던 이효리는 12일 SBS ‘일요일이 좋다-패밀리가 떴다’ 녹화에 출연하며 활동을 재개했다.

이효리는 당분간 ‘패밀리가 떴다’ 외 다른 활동은 없이 충전의 시간을 가진 후 새 음반 작업에 들어갈 예정이다.

Wow. I was prepared to wait a while for the next album. I'm still waiting for that DVD concert announcement. The last one was good so I hope she really does release something.

That is such great news. All her albums have been great so I can't wait for the summer now.

Singer Lee Hyori will comeback as a singer this summer.

Lee Hyori, who gained the name as the sexy icon with her 3rd album ‘U-Go-Girl’ released last year, will be releasing either a full-length album or a mini-album this year.

Mnet said, “Although plans for the new albums are still not concrete, we are aiming to release a summer album. we have not decided if it will be a full-length or mini album.”

Meanwhile, regarding the controversy of Family Outing being scripted, Lee Hyori said in a recent interview, “We do look at the script given to us. But we do not memorize the lines row by row.”

She continued, “It looks like I am always being cool, and that I am sexy and tough. But what you see in FO is very close to the real-life me, like 90% to what my true character is. A little acting is put in for the rest to make things more interesting and fun.”

I'm glad. I hope this album has some ballads. I love her ballads. A new album means a new photoshoot. I love her photoshoots.

I want a ballads too, like scolded ! that ballad is so sad!!!

Even if we get a mini-album, I'm sure it'll have 4 songs on it, so that'll be pretty good. But of course, a full-length album would be great too. I hope she's doing better and recovering after she incident in December; we need her to remain healthy too and not push herself too hard!

Now that VAL just posted that article I felt it was hint that we will be receiving a mini album (I pray I'm wrong). I really don't understand this mini album wave with Kpop artist.

Me neither. Why not just release a full-length album? (Don't artists usually have enough tracks anyways?) I understand pulling out a mini-album every now and then, but not all the time.

(I also don't understand the "comeback" thing - once you have a "comeback," aren't you already in the scene? How do you "comeback" from a "comeback"?)

well, I think they dont know if mini or full lenght album because they dont have time!

in basically every place except Japan, once you release a new album you're making your Comeback.
