Her sales for LAST ANGEL is seriously low, omg, I'm so surprised. No offence, but maybe it's time for Kuu to bring back her **** image........ It seems to me that japanese really liked it when she was dressing in a revealing way.

I think they like the cute image a lot more (i.e. Koi no Tsubomi, girls, Sora etc.)

^You're right. I was a bit surprised at how NEWS debuted at number one, but the fact that they released the single the same day as their album pretty much secured their position. Quite frankly, I'm WAY surprised that they beat out KOBUKURO's new single, but for sure, their new single will out-chart NEWS' single. Kuu had no chance against KOBUKURO, and though this single was really great musically, it sure as hell wasn't SEXY enough for her to have a competing chance. I would rather see NEWS at rank 3, with Kuu at rank 2, and KOBUKURO at rank 1.

Why? NEWS beat Kobukuro in March (and Tsubomi was a better song too)

From what I've know, is that because secret sold so well (at that time kumi wasn't so popular) avex decided to release best first things and the rest is history, of course.

I think Kumiko is really tryin' to prove to us that she can hold her without her '****' side. But it seems that her single sales have been on slope since she released Cherry Girl/Unmei and she was WILD in the CG PV. Maybe her fans want something new from her instead her cute or wild side. =/

@ATL: Kumiko is releasing too much. In J-music fans eyes, she is like another Ayu except she doesn't change up her style to keep interested. SHe needs to like people miss her...you know, so that when she does release, it'll give a boost popularity again. IMO of course!
