oh the covers have been out for a while

Nanchatte Renai = an amazing song. At first I thought it sounded like a recycled ver. of Shouganai, (and it still kinda is~) but jeeez, you cannot listen to that song just once! :laugh It's so ridiculously catchy, I already have the chorus memorized. :lech

I've been so in love with Momusu lately its crazy :luv2. Ever since seeing them live, my love for each of the girls has expanded viciously. Has anyone seen the Platinum 9 Disco Tour yet? Hands down one of their best, if not the best. As much as I love the OGs, I love this line-up so much. >.<

The new groups are interesting.

Zoku v-u-den = fail.

I had already predicted that Sayu would be in it since she's clearly going down the Rika path and it kinda works for her, to be completely honest. The ero-kawaiiness is way more interesting than "USA~CHAN PIISUUU~~~! ^O^"-Sayu.

Junjun fits cause of her age, but that's the only thing. Vocally she's nothing great, and neither is Sayu, so already this is a weak unit. She maybe in her 20s, but she's way too baby-faced and has way too cute of a personality to be v-u-den-ified.

But my biggest problem... Risako. *eyetwitch*. Easily my least favourite Berryz girl, hell, even my least favourite H!P girl in general, and she gets put into my favourite group. Risako? 15-year old Risako?!?! She's unnattractive and I hate her vocals and I really think they just put her in cause Sayu was put in (they seem to like pairing these two together).

So no to this group. Erika, Yui, and Rika were v-u-den. If Tsunku was going to revive them, he should have picked better members to carry the v-u-den torch. Can you just imagine Sayu/Jun/Risako performing Aisukuriimu or Jajauma Paradise...? ugh. :thud

If I had it my way, I'd probably keep Sayu, add Umeda from C-ute and either Maimi, Eri, or maybe even Ogawa (s/mileage) but she might be a bit too young. :laugh Well, if I really had it my way I'd just bring back Rika/Erika/Yui, but alas... XD

The other groups are fine, takign Reina out of Aa! was dumb, but she has High-King which Imo is way better (Maimi/Captain >>> Airi/Miyabi).

Bahh, don't bash Risako! XD. I like her voice - I think it sounds mature for her age, and although Sayumi is my favorite H!P member, I must admit Risako has a better voice than she and probably Junjun has too.

With that said, I do like Zoku-v-u-den, but I can't judge them too much since they only have one song. I also kind of like Shin Minimoni but mostly because of Linlin. Oh, and they're doing Janken Pyon at the new concert!! But not their new song =\. The new Tanpopo isn't bad either but I don't know 2 of the girls in it that well.

Of the new groups, Tanpopo and Minimoni imo are the only noteworthy ones, haha.

I don't think Risako has a bad voice, she's definitely more skilled vocally than Sayu and probably Jun as well, I just find her voice really grating. Her solo at the beginning of ONLY YOU ... :thud. But that's just me personally. :laugh And vocals aside, she does not fit into a group like v-u-den at all. I'm all for shuffling the girls around to perform old H!P songs but if I have to see Risako in a bunny girl suit... :tired

Am I the only one who thinks Risa looks kinda weird with that hairstyle? xD It doesn't show so much in the covers, but she had that hair at AX and it made her face look really thin. It honestly took me a second to recognise who she was when she walked in. :laugh

I wonder if they'll have them perform v-u-den's old songs =x. I agree that she's (Risako) not a perfect fit for the group, but who really is? I don't know if Junjun really fits either xD. Kinda.

I like Gaki's new hair, but it does look a bit weird. And I do think she's lost weight - look at her face now and then in Osaka Koi no Uta..so different.
