But, for example, an album has more songs then a single, and a dvd has lot's of content too, so people might be more tempted to but the album or dvd then Ayu's single (and wait for another album?) then buying the single, therefore, there wouldn't be as many sales :yes

No nobody's releasing that day; and there's a reason. 96% of the releases are on a wednesday. Tons of ppl releasing on the 9th

What's wrong with a Tuesday or Monday though?

The whole japanese music industry simply releases on wednesday.. So other days are usually out of the question

Actually, I think all these releases are more likely to help each other out because in general, it's getting more people into the CD stores.

the thing that's weird about japanese release dates is that everything is in stores on tuesdays even though the release date is a wednesday. they need to start on tuesday so that way they have an oricon ranking on wednesday.

anyway, i don't think the fans who were planning on buying the single before will choose not to because there are other releases during that day. perhaps even more because i'm sure her japanese fans share the same concerns as fans on AHS do. they want her to continue to succeed and that would mean keeping her streak intact.

it all remains to be seen how this single will fare, and whether or not it deserves to be #1... although the fact that it's ayu seems to be reason enough for most you, regardless of the material. i love many of ayu's ballads and i hope i can add these to a list that i enjoy and whether the single as a whole is worth buying and if it is, i might even buy it to support her and i don't own anything of ayu's.

Maybe in 2 weeks, oh i wanna see the covers.

i am hoping too omg. waiting is the hardest for ayu releases for me. with anyone else i'm just like "whatever, hope the songs are good, if there is a leak i might download it, etc" and with ayu i'm like "omg what? did anything leak? i need to check a bunch of websites all the time!!!1" i go crazy until there is some sort of leak :laugh

Well Sunrise/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~'s covers were on the official website on 17th July (and the single was released on 12th August).

I wonder if it means that we will get it on the 21st or 22nd which means Saturday or Sunday. =P Unless if they don't do patterns.

Time can be a pain. slowly slowly dragging on. but there's also an upside to it. Time must move on. No matter how slow its taking for us to get any feedback for this single. every day must pass by. and we can't not move forwards no matter how slow its going. Time is constant. no faster or slower. good thing or bad thing. time must and is constantly passing by.

Now that I'm out of my philosophical persona. hehehe
I'm not really excited about this. sunrise was a bad single. haven't listened to it since it leaked. I just really don't care for it. This single better not dissappoint.
