I actually wouldn't mind if they were in the next album.
I love break it alot.

Rocky Raven 10th May 2011 06:09 PM

^ same here
Break It is much catchier than Wild imo *run*-

bondingo 10th May 2011 06:09 PM

^^ I wouldn't mind either, in fact I want them to be on there. They're just such good songs and I don't own the single so...

Beauty4123 10th May 2011 06:37 PM

i never doubted that Break It/Get Myself Back would not be on the next album. why wouldn't they be? i hope namie releases at least one more single before her next album comes. even though with less singles, you get more album tracks, i think a good amount of singles would help the album sell a bit more.

kayokyokufan 10th May 2011 09:46 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up on the next album. I mean, Violet Sauce came out in 2005, but it ended up on Play which came out in 2007.

Bigtop 10th May 2011 11:32 PM

I don't understand why that despite more experience and longer time in the Japanese pop business it seems that Namie can do well more than Ayu in terms of sales numbers - and even consecutive #1 weekly streaks...

Celaphorce 11th May 2011 12:01 AM

^Because Namie releases quality, not quantity :D

neuteka 11th May 2011 12:33 AM

^ Just because she takes way longer to release new music doesn't necessarily mean that she puts more actual time or effort into the music than Ayu does. She does release amazing music obviously, but I'm getting really tired of people saying " oh they took way longer so the album must be better". The time spent in the actual recording studio is probably of similar length. The only difference is that Namie is more interested in touring, and not interested in releasing things all of the time.

kayokyokufan 11th May 2011 12:38 AM

I think Namie likes performing so that's probably why so much time is spent touring. Also, I think Namie is kinda taking it easy. She has other things in her life like her family to focus on. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Ayu taking it easy now also since she recently got married.

neuteka 11th May 2011 12:58 AM

I think it's really cool that Namie is so interested in getting out there and performing as much as she does. It's just unfortunate as a person who lives so far away from Japan/Asia, because seeing one of her concerts would cost a super fortune. I would absolutely love to go to one nonetheless.

kayokyokufan 11th May 2011 01:21 AM

It would be a dream to go to a Namie concert, but I live way too far so I've already accepted that it isn't likely to happen.

No offense, but if you would like to re-read my post go ahead, I never said it had to do with production time and who is in the studio longer, it's pure fact whether you want to admit to yourself or not is your problem, I stated my opinion therefore it's my opinion no need for you to go jump off a bridge for Ayu, cause let's be honest she hasn't been as good as she was since My Story, she got a little respect from me for Guilty but after that I don't care for her music, it's not substantial to me anymore, I look forward to hearing what she might come out with but imo she just disappoints ME, not saying other fans can't respect her and her music.

JackieRos 11th May 2011 04:14 AM

Oh gee zus :rolleyes can we not compare

kayokyokufan 11th May 2011 04:19 AM

Glad to see that Namie got #1 two weeks in a row. I think a third week would be asking way too much. I think I'm just gonna root for her to climb her way up the yearly ranking chart.

Sorry about that. I'm just trying to justify that just because you release less doesn't make your music have more quality.

Yes, take a look at Kumi - some of her BEST works were released during the era where she was exploding with popularity and had a new song out like every damn weekend practically. Lol.

Doesn't mean namie doesn't do a good damn job on what she does.

I love the way she is and her music is awesome.

I'm sorry, but I was nodding along in agreement until you decided to say that Ayu's music hasn't been good since a certain album, and stated it as fact. Sorry, but uhhh, no.

But anyway. Comparisons are going to happen between artists, it's when it gets *****y that it's stupid. :laugh Namie's doing awesome though. I wonder how good an original studio album will do.
