Well, if you look at the short versions for the Party Queen PVs, they're all pretty much around 150k, but they had the full versions up for a very short amount of time...

It's still pretty good for Ayu's channel. At this rate, it might get to a million!

Her singles from 2010 all have over 1 million views (MOON almost 2 million, Virgin Road and crossroad) I think that Youtube is a great way to promote her new releases, specially singles.

Since this is just one song too it's getting all the attention it deserves, which is awesome. 400k and counting, great numbers for 1 week I think. Keep on watching it! ^^

The full versions of the PQ pvs are still in the channel but they're in private.

Most of the thumbs down in You & Me I'm sure are by many people between here, last.fm and fans from other singers who are trying to pull ayu down :P

I smell 600-700k by the time of release + another 400k post-ASB. We can get 1 million views in three months maybe. :)

I got used to seeing 2NE1 & BIG BANG getting like 1 million views for less than a day and then getting over 10 million views for less than a month. after that, 400k from Queen Ayu doesn't seem like anything extraordinary, or, to say more, revolutionary.

I think that case is rather different, since Korea essentially forces their videos on fans as much as possible and they also tend to be posted in 1080p among other factors. (she's also been on a bit of a hiatus)

It tends to be a bit slower for Japanese acts to get views unless you're AKB or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

^Hello, BRILLANTE? That's like a masterpiece in the form of "no man can do this." I agree with you PQ era, but during FIVE even the covers are godly (although only two songs from that album can do justice to a no-single year).

Brillante was a nice song, but by no means do I consider it a master piece, I didn't really care for the chorus and the verse sounded off to me melodically in some parts.

BoA is just in time to revive her Kpop career, so yeah.


You & Me has almost as many views as Boys & Girls which was uploaded 2 years ago lol So referring to ayu's channel only, it's pretty good.

AVEX is just starting to realize the power of Youtube, in ayu's case anyway. Still, not uploading the entire thing isn't gonna help. They'll never get as many views as the Kpop groups, plus, we get DVDs with our Japanese releases, and most Kpop releases don't come with the pvs or mvs.

No. As I said earlier, all her singles in 2010 have over 1m views, they got great attention back then. Plus the big promotional tracks from RnRC, Love songs, FIVE, and the big classics (M, BLUE BIRD). I'm not sure why Don't look back has so many views :P Great pv of course.
