Yeah, and what they can NOT cut - it's Evolution, because of its connection to Brillante :-)
I think they're likely to cut some of these 3 songs:
03. HANABI
04. HANABI~episode II~
06. theme of a-nation'03

TeamAyu2004 2nd September 2012 03:01 PM

I seem them cutting some from songs, but maybe not the entire song?

I dont know how they would do it...
How long are the concerts usually?

krazeyo 2nd September 2012 05:53 PM

Hmmm I see them cutting evolution, HANABI~episode II~, and theme of a-nation'03. BRILLANTE was kinda a weird choice for an opening...if it was in the middle I think it'd be edited out, but they don't usually edit the opening song right?

truehappiness 2nd September 2012 08:04 PM

The most likely songs to get cut are probably a lot of the summer medley, either HANABI/HANABI ~episode II~, and theme of a-nation '03.

Why?

Because the summer medleys always get chopped up with really bad fade outs and the songs people want to hear (monochrome, etc.) always end up being scrapped for whatever reason.

TeamAyu2004 2nd September 2012 09:04 PM

I kinda see them cutting the medley, but thats when ayumi does her little car thing...
I guess they could cut it in a way and still keep that in?

The way they do it usually is fade into the performance of one or two songs and then fade out into July 1st or whatever comes before.

TeamAyu2004 2nd September 2012 11:17 PM

interesting...
honestly I never really have payed attention to anation... I think this one (2012) Is the first one I sat down and watched... ill have to watch the others... (I think i also watched 2010, but cant be too sure one that)

Deep snow 3rd September 2012 01:39 AM

Watched the performance a couple of days ago. I liked the setlist (it's strange to me how BRILLANTE was there but whatever, ayu), but that was very unfortunate-looking hair IMO. And I think she could've pulled some of the songs better (BRILLANTE, evolution, HANABI ~episode II~ - been waiting for her to sing the latter song forever), but I believe she did her best.

So tomorrow WOWOW'll broadcast the show BUT they'll show us only one song by Ayu - "July 1st" - because they plan to focus mainly on 25.08 show (one song by Big Bang as well)...I'm super excited that they'll at least show full set of Sandaime J Soul Brothers :-)))

I wonder if it's because they plan on selling the 8/26 show on DVD?

Interesting.

Agreed :yes

And July 1st!!!

But, yeah, maybe it's because FujiTV NEXT has "prime" rights to the 8/26 show, but keep in mind there were artists in 8/25 that were NOT in 8/26 (and Ayu was only on 8/26, not the other dates)...
