At this point even being able to get to go down to the US by train or bus is something I only rarely get to do every 4-5 years if lucky. Going to Japan is a far off dream in like another 10 years. Hopefully Namie will still be performing then. Right now all i can do is watch these JPOP concerts on Bluray. Theyre fun enough already. However i do agree that concerts are much better in person. I saw a couple American artists myself and that was awesome. ♥♥♥♥♥

Hopefully someday I'll get the same energy experience with a Japanese artist I love.

I feel privileged to have found a place that I love enough to call a second home, since that's what Japan is to me, but I'm not sure luck has much to do with it tbh. If you really want to make it happen and can be strict with yourself and your budget, I'm sure you could make the trip happen sooner than 10 years from now. :yes

Thanks but I am on a budget. We put aside $200 per month but when we only pull in $2800 per month between 3 people and already have cut out everything except for internet and phone its still difficult. I'm still trying my hardest though. Anyways I apologize for flying off the handle. Think I was going through an early mid-life crisis for a bit. LOL

Anyhoo, I'm still excited to see the show when it releases. I'll be downloading it as usual. ;)

If you consider what you said before "flying off the handle", I feel like a monster for half of the rants I've ever had online.

I totally understand you. Coming to Japan was a long dream of mine as well, and living in Brazil (which is in the exact opposite side of the world from Japan) it's actually ultra expensive to do so. But I found my way, I studied hard and was able to get an scholarship to study here for a year as an exchange student, this scholarship was the only way I was able to come to Japan, because I didn't have the budget to do so... And even now I feel so lucky of having this amazing opportunity.

I hope you'll be able to fulfill your dream of coming to Japan as well, keep working hard, I'm sure you'll get there! :)

Japan is a really expensive country, I want to be there too, but maybe just for vacations

Minttulatte 6th May 2014 01:20 PM

I'd like to go to Japan too one day, but it's so expensive to fly from Finland. Just the damn ticket for a plane is 500-600€ and even the thought of the hotel prices and all the stuff I would buy... I need to be rich as hell. :D I would go see Kuu and Namie live. That's my dream♥

Bloody hell ! A plane ticket from Finland to Japan is only 500-600 € ? O.O
From France, there isn't any plane ticket under 1000-1200 € ....

I know I'll never get to Japan, unless I win to lottery :(

That's why you must check different airlines, one year it's cheaper to go through Dennmark, other year through Finland and other through Germany. The cheapest tickets I found this year were €500 (and it's the cheapest I ever found) but for personal reasons I bought other for little less that €680. (Btw, I'm from Poland which doesn't have direct flights so it's a price for two planes actually so going from Finland itself is probably even less, though not that much, and then I have to pay anoher €50 to get to the capital which is 3hours by train away... The things we do to fill our dreams, so people stop complaining about having the blessing of a direct flight from your country =p P.S. Oh, and getting to the train station itself is also quite a journey, I live in such a one horse town xD)

Gurotesque has grown on me recently, I'm so hyped for the BALLADA atm.

visionfactory 6th May 2014 08:55 PM

I think by this time GROTESQUE has to had sold just about 50k

Benikari47 6th May 2014 09:09 PM

GROTESQUE grew a lot on me as well, i found it kind of stale at first but it's actually quite the banger. Right now i just want Sweet Kisses in full though! :P

Oh, and i just pre ordered the blu-ray version of BALLADA, can't wait to get my hands on it <3

chocopockymaster 7th May 2014 12:22 AM

It's Still Lovin' You, from the latest ESPRIQUE CM :)

ILoveGeniuses 8th May 2014 02:39 PM

Feels almost weird these days to have Namie releasing stuff left right n center. Feels more like Ayu's style 12 years ago. I'm definitely enjoying it though. Keeping my fingers crossed for another new single soon. ♥

And i didnt see this Esprique CM. Did it just release last night?
