Aww at the covers. I wanted her on it :P

KarenPang 20th May 2016 11:01 AM

BENI Premium Live 2016 in Fukushima will take place on 18th June , 11 days before Shiki Uta summer EP gets released

Maybe she will perform some of the material from the EP on that day ?

Gustavopc 20th May 2016 02:27 PM

The new version of Eien is a bit generic, not really sure if I like it... It might take some time to grow on me

Covers are nice! I love that they're different and I love this kind of collage

kakumei 21st May 2016 03:19 AM

The cover with the text is the album cover, for both editions. The cover with the ring is just the cover for the digital release of the eien marriage ver. single.

DevilsClap 21st May 2016 11:11 AM

^ Ahh makes sense!

She changed her profile picture on facebook too :luv2
love the summer theme ~

I'm a bit confused... So there will be our sky, eien marriage version, a cover that was on covers 3 and 7 new covers????

^She looks not really pretty in this new picture :/

Also I hate the term "self cover". It doesn't make sense at all!

thinkingoutloud89 22nd May 2016 01:13 PM

^why not...its a cover of ones own song.

Corvina 22nd May 2016 01:44 PM

Cause a cover is a version not sung by the original artist, it's done by another one.
If you publish another version of your own song it's officially a remake (or a remix if it's only getting a new mix).
I can see why English speaking people are confused with such a word like "self cover", especially cause another word for it wasn't neccessary.

thinkingoutloud89 22nd May 2016 02:48 PM

well I think it is an okay term for what it is. a remix is something different (a new mix does not mean remix, it is rather an update of the instrumentation. A remix on the other hand changes the structure to a certain degree). A re-take is a song reusing with the same instrumentation with updated vocals. So I think "self-cover" gets pretty close.

It's a new version, that's all. A cover it's when someone else sing your song like Corvina said.

The term self-cover will never work for me :/ It doesn't make sense an artist covering herself/himself. BoA has already released two new versions of Meri Kuri and she doesn't label it as a self-cover.

DevilsClap 22nd May 2016 10:07 PM

Maybe every Artists just labels their things different.
Some call it 'self cover' and other say it's a 'new recording' a 'retake' or 'version 2016'
I saw all of these already so..I just don't know.

Eien marriage ver. is now listed on iTunes Japan

https://itunes.apple.com/jp/album/ei...e/id1112323116

KarenPang 25th May 2016 01:38 PM

I like Eien marriage ver. as this new version is more wedding inspired as the PV had an engagement and then get married at some random chapel theme

Too bad the single cover at the time of release didn't matched the theme of the song

ayu_ready? 25th May 2016 08:57 PM

I honestly do not need any mre damn covers, self covers or just covers, eh. I like the cver though
