I haven't watched the whole thing yet (I've been busy) but the performances I have watched are epic as hell.

Also, why did they cut real Emotion and 1000 no Kotoba from their medleys? That's just weird if you ask me. Doesn't it ruin the flow completely? O.o

Pandy, well.. after you attended WOML tour..
yes.. :rolleyes

ALfromHELLSING 13th September 2016 03:45 AM

I LOOOOOVE this tour!!:love Can't wait to get my hands on the Blu-ray!! <3 Her vocals were SO on point 90% of the time, even if she did sound a little squeaky at the end. Yet still you gotta give it to her, she's effin' awesome - almost 50 tour dates, no lip-syncing, so much dancing, rehearsals, etc. I bet all the people who complain bout her vocals / performances in the last few years must be exceeding their bosses expectations at their jobs on a daily bais. It makes me happy that she doesn't perform globally, her international fans would rip her apart. Literally for everything.

My 3 tiny complains are: lighting was a little too dim in some parts, short versions of Trust Your Love & love across the ocean were just pathetic and sad, as mentioned already stage was underused.

jiarongisme 13th September 2016 06:47 AM

The dance break that leads into Trust Your Love was everything though. Gosh that was brilliant.

I guess you mean it's pathetic that they were just short versions in a medley?
Cause that's true. I love, love, love how they've done the songs in the medley, but I rather have them in full.

pedronekoi 13th September 2016 03:49 PM

Watched the concert and I loved the whole concept. <3 That jukebox, the stage, the interlude was amazing. As someone said, the jukebox should have been best used, but I loved the idea. Really original! She is 100% flawless, every time. Can't wait to see it full <3

kaled kalil 15th September 2016 12:16 AM

She was on the studio again this week. This is feeling like Kylie's X, where she recorded 50 songs for the project and the final product was like 13 songs. haha

Gustavopc 15th September 2016 03:45 AM

I wonder if we'll get a new album right after the 60th single? I mean, I'm assuming we're getting the single since it's being hinted on during her shows, but who knows. A cover album would also be welcome iirc she took some months to record CTC

KuuXAyu-fan 15th September 2016 04:30 AM

I hope for either a 3A-4A side 60th single announcement or new album. It's been too long to announce another mediocre release. SOL, WOL, Shh were cute and all but they are by far some of the most uninspired and bland releases she's put ever put out. WOML was a bit better but even that was somewhat underwhelming. I hope Kuu can excite me with a new release again.

a❤martian 15th September 2016 06:04 AM

I found Hurricane and Shhh to be some of my favourite songs from her! Oh, and Fake Tounge. I'm usually not super into rock, but omg I love that song!!

Ryusei 15th September 2016 02:07 PM

Shhh is really awesome and kimi omoi is one of my fave kuu ballads tbh hope she'll keep performing it at concerts

I get why some people are feeling this way about the new tour, I feel like this is a compilation of her past performances and most popular songs. Like something you'd do to end a chapter of your career, or even to commemorate all you've done for the past 15 years. Since she's been visiting all 47 prefectures of Japan, I think that was Kuu's purpose on this tour, to bring her music live to all her fans around Japan.

I'm glad she hasn't released anything 'cause she's obvioulsy working hard and being busy with the tour, a new single would come up as weak at this point. But I agree about the excitement of her releases. They have been very laid back since WALK OF MY LIFE (which was awesome as a piece of work anyway). I hope she can come back to the more over the top, original and colorful concepts. Last one was Bon Voyage and it's been more than 2 years since its release. Time flies~

kaled kalil 16th September 2016 02:18 AM

Since WOML is one of my favorite albums from Kuu, and all the songs she released so far after the album are pretty good, I like the direction that she is going.

I'm not creating any expectations about the new release that will come, her release schedule is a little messy right now, and I still feel like something was scrapped this year, I mean, why would they put a brand new song on a commercial, and then the song not being released at all? But anyway, I remember that during late 2014 / early 2015 it was pretty much the same thing, being on the studio pretty much every week/month and all of the sudden there was WOML, so we'll have to wait and see how it turns out.

KarenPang 16th September 2016 05:42 AM

I think the frustration that most people are having right now is lack of new material as all the while , Kuu's pace in releasing new songs is always there/on point

She even released Beach Mix when she was pregnant . She's on a long tour right now which wouldn't end until Nov but some artistes still release new material in between doing long tours too

For her not to release a Summer single this year is a bit disappointing as I always look forward to them . Now the way I see it , at most she probably can shoot for an end of the year release ?

Also sure some might find KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2016 ~Best Single Collection~ boring and not as great/exciting as her past tours/concerts but there's still a theme/story behind it which's a celebration of the past & present Kuu

Corvina 16th September 2016 07:13 AM

It's funny. This tour generates a lot of buzz over on Baidu. And with the Japanese as well it seems.
Just for 4 dates tickets are still available.

I acutally see this tour as extention of her 15th Anniversary celebrations. Maybe they couldn't tour all of Japan in 2015 (not making it in time with booking e.g.) or Avex wanted her to make an arena tour and special first to make more money.
Whatever it is, they clearly did plan this as we got Summer and Winter of Love and not a new album before. And releasing in between the tour would go agianst the concept of the tour.

A mysterious countdown timer has been added to Kuu's official site

http://rhythmzone.net/koda/

No clue on what it might be but I don't mind a crazy over the top 60th single + new album + 60 singles best singles collection rolled into 1 announcement , LOL

KarenPang 17th September 2016 02:16 PM

Does this mean something will be announced on Mon ? :confused

Gustavopc 17th September 2016 02:23 PM

OMG GIRL DO NOT TEASE AT ME TO RELEASE MORE MERCH PLEASE

kaled kalil 17th September 2016 02:34 PM

To keep low expectation (for music) I'll guess that she's three months pregnant and the countdown is to the due date.

Corvina 17th September 2016 02:36 PM

3 day countdown to the official countdown on her official site! :P

But no, EXCITING!
