yes IKR, the reason many japanese fans on twitter be like "omg now I know Ayu-chan is real coz she shop like us normal people too!" when she posted Insta story buying chocs at the mart, LOL, I feel the same xDD

^yes, that's probably the closest comparison.

I'd say it started around 2007 that that image started to form.
She used to talk about much more down to earth realistic things.

Whether by her choice or the hosts of shows, the questions started focusing more on her "luxury" trips and filming locations and houses and stuff. Then there was a show where she mentioned she has no idea where her nail clippers are because she never cuts her own nails, and she didn't know what SuiCa or PASMO were (train/bus cards), so her distance from reality started coming out but by bit.

I do think there was a bit of an act involved, and I do think it was a bit intentional. I think she wanted to portray such an image.

Now its become her only image... and her relatability and attempts at showing it are looked at as her purposefully trying to connect and she's looked at as fake.

^ It's Kibi and Dango, the two dogs she bought recently. Her mom lives in the same building as her so she must be taking care of the dogs while Ayu is touring.

^Agree, colored contacts works for costumes such as the bunny one from RnC or the maid one from Hotel Love Songs, like pretty anime style but overall I prefer her natural eyes :yes
