I absolutely love all her post-hiatus work so far, and this is so exception. I can't wait to hear the full version :heart

Hikki is doing an IG live right now! She said she will do one every Sunday this month.

Shirayuki 6th May 2020 08:53 AM

I missed the Instagram live! Is there any way to watch it online? I'd better put the next Instagram live in my schedule.

Who else is excited for the new song dropping this week?

Gubsi 7th May 2020 07:08 PM

Time is released in japan... the full version is amazing.
the bridge is KILLING it, damn
i'm so in love with the direction she's going this era :heart
hope there's going to be a vinyl release as well

Katsuyuki012 7th May 2020 07:55 PM

I can't wait for Time. I feel like it's gonna be one of my new favourites by Hikki :heart

summerain 7th May 2020 08:58 PM

I've tried to download it through Jpopsuki, but none of their torrents are working for me. Anyone has a link?

Katsuyuki012 8th May 2020 12:36 AM

The song is amazing. I love it so much. :heart

Time is super refreshing. It has the most character of any song since Sakura Nagashi. The soundscape is quality - really interesting and keeps you engaged. There’s a lot of movement and development which I nice.

It's on Spotify, if you have that. That's where I listened to it.

Absolutely love Time, it feels fresh and like a throwback at the same time. Her vocals are so smooth :weep :heart Need to listen to it more to get a more indepth opinion than that.

I've failed to be a hikki fan... Kept thinking about getting the song last night (a few hours before release), and totally forgot about it today because I've been too addicted to Animal Crossing :P lol.

Love Time! Gives me Distance meets Hatsukoi vibes!

thinkingoutloud89 9th May 2020 04:14 PM

It's an okay song, nothing too memorable. Overall I think it sounds pretty cheap somehow, especially the instrumental bridge, like the verse right after and the ending. very old-school tho, which is nice.

Earth_maiden 9th May 2020 08:21 PM

I went off Utada with her Fantome album but Time makes me rethink going back and giving her another listen.

Funnily enough the single "Ōzora de Dakishimete" was released on my birthday and that never happens to me. :love

Akutenshi 11th May 2020 05:41 AM

This is immaculate. Love this, definitely on repeat.

I don't think is bad, but I agree that it is not too memorable (still can't remember the melodies the whole song). This is the first hikki single that cannot stick inside my head after post-hiatus era.

I will have more faith for the next single :P.

RealLight 13th May 2020 08:31 PM

It's a nice song, but that's it, I also found it not so memorable. The other one she's releasing at the end of the month sounds more interesting.

ShiniTakashi 14th May 2020 06:55 AM

I...found myself a tad bit disappointed with this song as well. I was super looking forward to it based on the preview, but somehow I'm not as keen on the full thing.

bluegie 14th May 2020 02:02 PM

LOL this shouldn't be happening. Hikki is releasing songs and I should love every single one haha.

Well I didn't like Oozora and Play A Love Song when they released (cuz I thought they were a bit too blend), but now I really like them. I hope eventually I will like Time as well, but I kinda doubt I will. I can't say I dislike R&B (if so, I wouldn't fall in love with her songs in the first place), but I prefer her other styles.
