well not a lot of people have translated yet...but just what songs do you have in mind?
Quote:

Shiawase no kane
Rain falls and the earth receives it
Without any colors of joy or sadness
Without any colors

Night comes and morning is left waiting somewhere
The promise of life is found within
Found within

I can hear the bells of happiness
We will meet whom we must
So there is no need to say goodbye
No need at all

I can hear the bells of happiness
People join hands somewhere
So that all may hear the bells of happiness
So that all may hear them

I can hear the bells of happiness
I shall offer up my prayers here
For your smile that I cannot see yet
For your smile

I can hear the bells of happiness
The morning sun will surely, surely rise
So that all may hear the bells of happiness
So that all may hear them
Quote:

Ashita e no Sanka
The soundless wail of our lives
Was engraved on the land

In your hand, a silver cadence
Even if inserted, spills out

If no season for proclaiming love exists
In this kind of matured and just world

Sing
Kindness to the false ones
Dance
Endless sky, eternal prayer

Countless flies gather above the black water
Excuses mean nothing

Who said that night always comes to an end?
I whistle now

Shout
An impossibility is a feather turned white
Reach
The fiery setting sun
Hymn for tomorrow

Innocent fingers open
By the one I love, now out there somewhere
Quote:

Hitotsu
It’s not just once
I’ve lived many lives
I don’t have any proof
Nor do I have any memories

But I feel the heat
Of my own life
And I’m protected
By many blessings

Rather than being loved
It begins with the courage to love

*My heart is now
Connected with love
I’ll never be alone
For all eternity
We are one

Your tears
Hurt this much
Setting my heart on fire
As much as I do

Everyone becomes nicer
Whenever they are hurt

I think I saw
The same distant star
In my dream
Let’s find the reason we were born

(Repeat*)

I wiped those hot tears away
With this hand
I’m not alone in love
We are one
ALL THANKS TO zixorah from Alan-World

My translation of Shiawase no Kane was different. I posted it on here before.

Here it is:

Quote:

The song is pretty but it's just that, pretty. There's nothing that sticks out about it. I'll try my hand at translating it:

The Bells of Happiness

The rain that falls, the land accepts emotions
such as joy, sadness, and others, without coloring
Without coloring...*

The night comes, and in a morning somewhere
life waits in vain inside that named promise
Inside that promise...

I can hear the bells of happiness
There are as many meetings* as there are those
where you don't have to say goodbye
Don't have to say goodbye...

I can hear the bells of happiness
Someone somewhere joins hands
so the bells of happiness can be delivered
For it to be delivered...

I can hear the bells of happiness
I offer my prayers from here
for your smile that I have yet to see
For your smile...

I can hear the bells of happiness
The morning sun will certainly, certainly rise again
So the bells of happiness can be delivered
For it to be delivered...

* iro wo tsukezu ni means without coloring, or without differentiating by color
* deai no kazu means many meetings but usually implies the first meeting

Of course there's probably mistakes but I tried my best. I think this is the gist of what she's saying. Nice lyrics.

Celaphorce 2nd October 2008 02:55 AM

She has the prettiest lyrics, prettiest covers, and one of the prettiest voices I have EVER heard!

GRACE 2nd October 2008 03:06 AM

I'm curious as to what her lyrics would be like if she wrote them <3 I hope someday she gets good enough at Japanese to do some =D

pommy48 2nd October 2008 03:08 AM

oo yes~ maybe she might surprise us and write some chinese lyrics for her chinese album

GRACE 2nd October 2008 03:10 AM

Hey, when or where was it ever confirmed that she's planning a chinese album o_O?

Also, I posted it on alan world, so I'll post it here. Yesasia's stocking Xin Zhan~RED CLIFF~ again, just be prepared to wait. "Usually ships in 21 days" lol

pommy48 2nd October 2008 03:13 AM

hmm i hope she would release a chinese album...but who knows~ one day she will though! i'm sure of that!

GRACE 2nd October 2008 03:21 AM

I think it'd be cool, alan's Chinese cover album is the only Chinese music I can listen too, so I wouldn't mind her doing another one XP

AyUta 2nd October 2008 03:22 AM

I have a good feeling that she WILL release a Chinese debut album. I don't count the cover album she did, but her covers were very nice. I would love to hear a Chinese debut album from her :)

pommy48 2nd October 2008 03:22 AM

since i do listen to a lot of cpop...idk if it can live up to my standards~ but i hope the album will have good music on it~

GRACE 2nd October 2008 03:25 AM

It's alan, there's no way it can not be good =P

paper_doll 2nd October 2008 05:00 AM

I'd love a Chinese album from her. I actually find the Chinese versions of her songs better, so some completely new stuff would be fabulous.

I wonder if she ever has attempted to write lyrics. She seems to do well with her Japanese blog.

pommy48 2nd October 2008 05:04 AM

did in some pics above..there was a pic of alan sitting and writing? it could be lyrics..
she have more confidence when she's singing in chinese~ cause she knows it, her japanese songs will only get better once she's confidence with it

@pommy and huaka thank you very much!^^ i like them^^
well i'm very interested in RED CLIFF and Sora Uta lyrics^^

jbrat2219 2nd October 2008 06:32 PM

Hey! I'm new to alan/alan thread, so this may have been posted, but I only came across this song today! Kaze no Tegami... Does anyone else thing it sounds very Ayu-ish? Do you think her and Ayu are friends? I remember seeing them on the same page in a magazine together hahahaha. But I wonder if there's a connection b/w them. I would love for them to sing together, since their arrangements seem to be very similar.

-edit-

here's the song btw lol
