Not because of that, maybe because there are alternate version from MOON/blossom in crossroad, crossroad has blossom PV, and L got alternate versions from crossroad.
Not necessarily a triloy. Though yeah I don't think that it should incease it unfortunately... it could be awesome though!

I think it has a lack of trilogy feeling, but somehow it has something about trilogies like u said, but I also don't think that those would increase sales like it was a real trilogy as vogue-SEASON-Fly high (don't remember the correct order)...

It's vogue-Far away-SEASONS. Fly high has nothing to do with this trilogy and it was released before vogue. :D But you are right about these three singles lacking the trilogy feeling. I don't even feel like these songs are some kind of a stories. How stupid. It should have been thought through more lol.

brener 26th September 2010 01:29 PM

^

ayu should have done something stronger and more visible to link the singles...

Heldin 26th September 2010 01:38 PM

Woohooo!! Go, Ayu!!

jbrat2219 26th September 2010 02:27 PM

Well at least she's back at #1! :D

maikaru 26th September 2010 03:53 PM

She will for sure get number one week this week~

Max_ZZZ 26th September 2010 04:04 PM

unexplained flashbacks ftl

love in music 26th September 2010 04:12 PM

lol poor kumi. i was like "wtf where is she?" when i checked oricon. ayu fans have nothing to worry about~ #1 is pretty secure.

brener 26th September 2010 06:16 PM

^

yeah hahaa, I was also like that "wtf, where is koda??" hahaha and when I saw her at #4 I was just like lolING

adantatu2 26th September 2010 11:36 PM

Now koda needs like 18k to get the No.1 , i'm so happy for ayu

Ranma Matsuri 27th September 2010 12:30 AM

LOL

Ayu's position isn't surprising but wtf happened with Kuu? Oh well, at this point both of their weekly positions are locked in anyway. Another #1 for Ayu and #2 for Kuu. Both of you did well ladies. :D

I don't think it even was meant to be a trilogy, it was pretty much just Avex hyping up these singles to make them seem connected to the "record breaker" to increase sales. This whole thing was quite messy from the beginning, I think the fans are pretty much the only ones aware of the "The Road to the 50th Single Project" or the supposed significance of the 7 Days Tour Final. I hope the next time they decide to announce a singles project, it's not on "spur of the moment" thing... an actual "project" with an interesting unifying theme and set release schedule rather than a money grabbing rush job. :P

bluegie 27th September 2010 01:21 AM

tbh I dun see any trilogy meaning to these singles (if they are supposed to be). It looks more likely a way to celebrate her 50th single + a big chance to break another record. It seems a bit messy, but I believe this has been planned since ayu went to England to record materials for R'n'RC. Thinking about that, I'm actually quite surprised the things are a bit unorganized when the team had like.. 3 months ahead to do the stuff. We can use her previous trilogy (vogue-Far away-SEASON) and kuu's 12 single project to compare with. avex can easily handle this. Yet it's not as professional as usual. I can see that they want to make ayu successful this time (e.g., using old composers, make TK composed for ayu, and even asked Noriyuki Makihara to compose for her.

I dunno anymore... :P

LacusClyne 27th September 2010 03:53 AM

this 3 singles don't look like a trilogy, nothing links to each other.... sadly...

avex is just dissappointing sometimes. i think it will get better sales if they do something BIGGER and make people feel that they HAVE to get all 3.
i mean they can come up with the 12 singles thing for kuu, why can't they come up something cool for this 3 singles?

adantatu2 27th September 2010 04:18 AM

^It's true, i can't feel the conection, the three are great singles, but for a project is so weak.
But well, i'm happy because we can get the 3 singles in this year.

truehappiness 27th September 2010 04:24 AM

She gave us three great singles in the span of two months (and a week or two). What more can you really ask for?

How come it's Avex to blame if Ayu has creative control of whatever she does? If the singles aren't a triology, it's Ayu's "fault"

nanakopy87 27th September 2010 04:31 AM

if they couldn't delivery the stuff as they promised,i rather they just say/announce that it is a normal release instead of 3 consecutive single release project.what for if you announce something, but badly execute it.its not that we ask for the so-called project.its them who said its a 3 single release project thingy.but end up,its just like her normal releases. :(

love in music 27th September 2010 05:07 AM

but.. they never even said there was going to be a connection between the singles right?
i thought it was just announced as 48th 49th 50th in a short amount of time. it doesn't mean they have to be ~connected~. idgaf about that, i just want good new music to listen to and she delivered that and more with these singles so i'm very pleased.
