Surprisingly if not shockingly , smart outsold the 1st week sales of JUMP WORLD by a mere 156 copies

But to be fair , JUMP WORLD had 2 editions while smart had 4 (inclusive of the 1st press CD only with bonus disc)

Ikuta Toma to star in movie adaptation of Isaka Kotaro’s “Grasshopper”

Ikuta’s co-stars include internationally-recognized actor Asano Tadanobu and Yamada Ryosuke of the male idol group Hey! Say! JUMP.

Ikuta will play Suzuki, a man who leaves his job as a schoolteacher in order to infiltrate an underworld organization and take revenge on the person who murdered his girlfriend. Suzuki will meet different assassins, Cicada and Whale, and the story will show how their lives will interlace. Asano will play Kujira (lit. “whale”), a contract killer who specializes in observing his targets, gaining insight into their state of mind and eventually manipulating them into committing suicide. Yamada’s character Semi (lit. “cicada”) is a fellow hitman who takes a more direct approach, utilizing his expertise with knives.

Ikuta expresses his excitement about working for the first time with Asano and he wants to learn a lot from the actor since Asano has made movies in and out of the country. In co-starring with Yamada, Ikuta says that he’s excited to see how [Yamada] pretty looks will transform into someone who nobody has ever seen before. High level of physical strength will be used in this movie that Ikuta wants to go wild as desired.

Filming of “Grasshopper” will begin on July 7. A nation-wide release is planned for fall 2015.

I'm very glad that avex Taiwan has made all 4 editions of smart as I'm not so keen to get the Japan press in any single bit & it's not helping that Oricon now does not count sales being shipped out of Japan anymore

I will order the CD only 1st press edition next week . US$21+ for the total cost , what's there not to love about Taiwan press ?

most of the time the single covers will be different . I haven't seen any Johnny's groups that use the same covers for their singles , be it regular and/or 1st press limited editions

"Weekender" & "Asu e no YELL" are such nice songs, I love them both so much! They're lots of fun to listen to & I've totally enjoyed listening to them. :)

The covers are too cute! :heart All the boys are looking so cute & handsome, as well. I especially love their outfits, very colorful! :) If I had to choose only one cover as my most favorite, It would totally be the Regular Edition/First Press cover. :love
