Apparently she's a Victoria's Secret model. But I don't get what brand she promoting in these CMs, or why she has an anniversary (Happy Samantha Anniversary?)...

Out of Control has grown so much on me these past 2 days.

Miranda Kerr is the model. People usually know her from Victoria's Secret. She's generally popular.

The brand is Samantha Thavasa. I'm not sure of their popularity, I don't live in Japan, but I think it's nice.

There have been two commercials plus that message to ayu. It's all cute. More promo for A One.

And Zutto... Would most certainly not fit those commercials lol @orbitalaspect.

Thanks I think I understand now, so Samantha Thavasa isn't actually a person in the same way Victoria from Victoria's Secret isn't actually person.

I really like the commercial, and all things considered I think the song fits really well, though I don't really know why this Samantha Kerr would make a video thanking Ayu but it was nice to watch.

Also I agree with Zutto... not fitting, this commercial, the CM is a complete summer video, and Zutto... is the exact definition of a winter song (Ayu even freezes herself in the video, and it doesn't get much more dead of winter freezing cold than that)

My favorite thing about the album is Ayu's signauture singing style from 2000-2004 is in full fledge here. Its kind of hard to explain but I think you guys can get what I mean, that sort of howl she does at the end of notes. Its so "ayu"

ayumisrael 14th May 2015 08:19 AM

I missed the part of album chat you like less.

I actually love the Anything for you part, I only have problems with the The Story~The GIFT part where it gets too quite for too long.
I'm good with the rest of the parts of the album.

I like this album, but every time when I listen to this album I'm tempted to skip The GIFT, not that I dislike it, I just feel like "I wanna skip it"... But to my surprise, after few sips of G&T while I reading a couple nights ago, as the song starts and the lyrics flow into my ears, the song hit straight to my heart, and for the first time I don't feel like "I wanna skip it". :D

I see that. This album is more reminiscent of I AM..., and RAINBOW than Colours or LOVE again and that is definitely a good thing.

Surreal17 14th May 2015 08:45 AM

Lol, those cms are hilarious. And the song is definitely not fitted, but at least the album is getting more promo.
I.m glad that this album has no interlude but just an introduction like Duty.

Am I the only one that when he listens to Last minute I see the present ayu from the PV in my head singing it to the old ayu with the lamp swinging above? (Withoung watchint the PV!) lol.

I have to admit that Last minute's PV is impactful.

//ABEST 14th May 2015 11:14 AM

i think TSMGO fit that commercial kinda well since it's kinda summerish to me, the ending should be remixed somehow tho

Chris85 14th May 2015 11:31 AM

TSMGO's melody is sort of too depressing for cheerful commercial.

I see both the pv and the ayu singing it live during CDL 2014-2015!

Bad example. But what I meant was that something summer-y but more mid-tempo rather than so action-packed like TSMGO. Step by step would have been a better choice because it kind of fits the pace of the CM, which isn't like Kerr stealing handbags because she HAS to have one, but is more like Kerr sits here and smiles while holding bag, Kerr stands here and smiles while holding bag, Bag sits here and smiles while holding Kerr... you know, very simple scenes that aren't depicting a lot of motion.

Any TeamAyu member willing to sell their TeamAyu Limited Luxury Boxset ?

I very much doubt it, but a girl can dream, right? :tipsy

I see what you mean and yeah a more summer song would probably have fit better. But on A ONE i think TSMGO is the closest thing we've got. Something along the lines of "Blue Bird" or "glitter" would have fit the CM pretty well, she just doesn't have anything new like that right now. Step by step might have fit, but I still think I prefer something stronger along the lines of TSMGO fits better.

I think that Anything for you is one of ayu's best ballads.

It's really really beautiful, like if I would marry someday, I would probably devote this song to my sweetheart at the wedding (lol not actually singing it). It could be a great wedding gift song, way more than The GIFT. hahaha...

It's too long for it's own good. I generally like it, but most of the time I don't feel like listening to it.

Gustavopc 17th May 2015 11:30 PM

I also love Anything for You. As for its lenght, I totally forget how long it lasts while listening to it, it flows so well... Contrary to snowy kiss, which seems to be crawling to end when you pass half of it
