well we still have time for a single this year if it's announced this week i guess, but we'll probably just get an album announcement at her anniversary date/concert dec. 6th and thats all...
her 15th anniversary was pretty lackluster for an artist that invented release wh*ring, but ok she went the Ayu 10th "i'm touring af" thing instead.
but thats ok for an artist that released more things in 15 years than other in their whole life/career.

the only thing i could see would be maybe a digital/FC single like Dance In The Rain...
if we get an album i hope at least they'll let her doing 4 PV's instead of just 2
(and btw with Ayu's recent vinyl sixxxxxx thing going on i just hope her next album will be available as vinyl also)

^ Back when HOTEL was released I also thought her 60th single would come out during her 15th... Even hoped it when they released DITR, but here we are :laugh But looking back at 4 TIMES it was released just after her 10th, so I guess they don't bother with coupling numbers this way :shrug

I think perhaps the issue is that physical stuff just doesn't sell anymore. What's the point of her releasing a million singles or albums when people aren't going to buy them. I think tours are a safer, money making venture for avex.

But what is the point of that? No new music = the same concert everytime, at least for me.

I think she hasn't new releases because she's better know for be the Queen of Live.

As I see it, Kuu being "finally free" doesn't mean only leaving her cutesy side or that other side behind, but also this pressure to be putting out material so constantly. She is now taking her career in her own pace, and still we are not that short of new songs to say she doesn't have new material for holding concerts, since we got an original album in the beginning of the year and three tracks for the summer, which is the usual amount for a summer single. We are just short of a winter ballad - so far - but there's a cover coming and she seems to be preparing new material. If she keeps on putting out albums with 12~15 tracks without singles or simply a digital single some weeks before it, in the end it would be pretty much the same as getting three singles, remix album and a random compilation in the middle of it :P

Well, that's prolly only the case, if she doesn't vary her setlists too much ( like she tends to sadly).
She has such a big back catalogue and so much rare or even unperformed songs, she could easily fill different and varied tours for at least the next three years without putting out any new music at all. That's the advantage with having so much releases in the past. She and avex just have to use it. :laugh

We probably get an annoucement for something at her Anniversary tour dates at the latest.
Most probably an album or a new song as digital release.
But maybe, even if it's just a little hope, she might have something stored for us for the end of her Anniversary. Another DVD. Or a bundle.

I just hope she isn't (only) preparing another cover album and that's what she has recorded lately, seeing this new cover song coming. xD

I'd rather want a new studio album rather than a new cover album but since Kuu has changed her release pattern then I'm pretty much happy with anything she puts out now. :D

A cover album wouldn't be so bad, I still listen to Color The Cover quite a lot. Cover Album + Self-Cover would be quite lovely, I would say.

This year she's clearly promoting her brand as the Queen of Live, with Regular Tour ~ Mini Asia Tour ~ her a-nation festival ~ all the festivals overall ~ Special 15th Tour.
I can see how she is getting a more clean image, without releasing a lot of things (starting with less singles, then going to her usual annual remix album) and I think this is fine. I do miss getting excited for new releases each three months, but getting things done in her own pace is just a better thing overall.

I still think she'll release something before the end of the year, or even announce something. I mean, she announced JAPONESQUE almost three months before the release, so who knows... haha

I also think thats the reason.

Just give me another photobook like Maroc and Brazil and I will be happy. Queen of photoshoots!

No, it isn't a mistake, it's like that on the japanese FC page at least.
Always was the fan selection song for the 1st Saitama date. Maybe they did cut HURRICANE.

Or they really just forgot to post it in the list.

It's probably a mistake, they even got the fan selection songs, and it wouldn't make sense not having HURRICANE there.
