From my little knowledge about this subject (my aunt had it a long time ago when she was at the dentist), it could be caused by a bite from an insect, a food or some medication you're allergic. Hope she's fine right now, but let's wait the updates.

According to this news article she (or her staff took decision) to leave the hospital in Nagoya on Monday and come back to Tokyo by car, despite the fact that her condition was not yet good. She is apparently now undergoing close check ups in a hospital somewhere around Tokyo.
