YAAAY!! soo happy for aki! i was surprised tat she's been constantly makin' it back into the top 20 of the oricon singles daily chart! too bad it was released on a wk where many strong ppl released single, or else i'm sure sakurairo could've debuted at a much higher position! She seriously needs to do something different for her covers. If you gave me all the cover pics and asked me to tell you what singles/album they belonged to, I wouldn't have a damn clue.

Ranting aside, Kodou no Kakera sounds nice.

I think it's her thing.

She's not an uber J-pop royal, so I wouldn't expect glamorous covers from her. IMO, the J-pop industry to her, is more about the music than her image.

Look at her concerts. It's her and her piano.. maybe a band too. That's it.

Yup! I think the jeans girl next door look is perfectly fine. But I do think her expression on her new single could improve a whole lot! Now she just looks jaded.
