Pommy, if you are in Taipei, go to the underground mall near Shinkong and Taipei Train Station. The CD store there is one of my favourites and tends to get quite a few JP press cds, but they are expensive (usually same price as the originals).

Yeah for JP stuff, but most of its TW presses and Cpop cds are lower than Department store costs.

yeah, i noticed how the music store in the old Sogo is usually 30-50 NT more expensive than normal music stores

but what's funny about the underground mall..is there's many gaming stores, so one time I saw a bunch of nerds just sitting in a circle and playing games XD

My mum was like "oh, are they new? They look like that!" and she's right. They're used, but the condition is great, they're even wrapped in plastic to protect them. I just paid 2000yen (about 21 USdollars) for them. I'm happy! :3

just curious , what edition's your BEST SS is ? Mine's Taiwan press & I got it from Yahoo Taiwan Auctions with a bit of help from my Taiwanese friend Cliff since it's virtually impossible to find it being sold online (not counting 2nd hand ones on Amazon Japan & Yahoo Japan Auctions)

It's japanese press and it's second hand. My whole collection is japanese press, I don't buy others (for japanese artists). I use Yahoo auctions Japan most of the time, also m-book auctions.
So you're (taiwanese) edition is a new one? I saw some new ones from Tawain on ebay as well, but I wanna have the japanese editions, it's kind of a spleen. :laugh

ah ok & no my Taiwanese press of the album's used but it's ok . It was in great shape so it's more than good enough for me :yes

I can get a 2nd hand one from Amazon Japan or Yahoo Japan Auctions but instead I choose to get a Taiwan press because of DVD region code issues since Singapore's 3 while Japan's 2 so that was 1 of the reasons on why I held back in getting a 2nd hand copy from the above sites I mentioned

I',m lucky cause Germany has the same region code as Japan, so there's no problem to play japanese DVDs on a player here.^^
But you're right, it doesn't really matter which version, the content is the same.

Arashi's best is sure worth to get, seriously, it will be one of the top sellers this year.

true & sorry to say but I feel All the BEST ! pawns everything when you compare it against A COMPLETE (doesn't even deserve the title since she didn't put all of her A-sides in the compilation) but for All the BEST ! , hell yeah except for the exclusion of Ohno's solo

Yeah, that's why I prefer going to the normal music stores. I like going to the Dream Mall because there is the CD store that sells used ones, so they are quite cheap (and the condition isn't so bad).

lol. The worst time is in the morning when there are a bunch of hobos sitting by the entrances. So freaky especially considering the only store open at those times is the 7 Eleven.

There's also that one massage place where they use butcher knives to massage you. It was cool, but a little awkward.
