Hm, I think the demo is a very nice B-side. It's not awesome, but it's really nice and relaxing to listen to. And I can picture Kumi singing it, and I think she'll add a lot more to the song.
So.... Now that I'm [kinda...sorta........not really XD] over the cover thing, this is a decent single. (Decent, as in, better than Alive / Physical Thing, but not better than 3 SPLASH. :\)

^ ohh now that you mention it.. 3 SPLASH was her best single of 2009 :luv2. such awesome PVs, songs and covers. but Can We Go Back is a limited single (and a leader one, maybe?) after all, so I don't think they have wanted to put much effort in it xD. though, I really like what I'm hearing so far. Yes, I don't understand why so many people think 3 SPLASH was really bad. Lick Me isn't the most awesome, but it's a really fun, cutesy and catchy song, and that's exactly what they were going for. Hashire! is a perfect summery-rock song, especially to counter the other two. And then ECSTASY is a wonderful, upbeat and hip-hop inspired track that fits great on the single. Perfect mix of summery genres for all three. And yeah, the covers were really cool. I think it was a great single, actually (especially compared to some of her later ones)... :(

I'm probably 1 of the rare few who actually do like most of her discography ?

Except for 1/2 of MOON which was frankly a stinker (I like the songs that didn't got PVs a lot more than those which gotten D: ) , I'm in general happy with what she put out though D:
