I have to say that I am LOVING THIS ALBUM. Really really love it. This is also the kind of reminder (a GOOD & SOLID new Ayu album) to remind me how much emotion and feeling her musical talent makes me feel inside. Boy do I love her. :)

I have a bone to pick with Avex though - a serious WTF in my opinion - on the videos. Clearly they're all shot in WIDESCREEN, so why the heck, are PV's 5 through 8 on the DVD in 4:3??!! This is pretty disappointing to me. Why would they do that?!

^What i hate about widescreen is that if u buy a widescreen tv it should get rid of the black bars on top and bottom of the screen.

Also, i honestly havent listened to it in full yet. Just a few songs. Wanna wait til my copy arrives to listen to the entire thing.

^ Without getting too technical about the widescreen issue... it all depends on how the content is filmed. All the widescreen videos of Ayumi that I can recall (and all these new ones) are 1.78:1 meaning a true 16:9 ratio, which has no black bars anywhere on a widescreen TV. So when I am watching on a 47" HDTV, and I see 16:9 content squeezed into a 4:3 square, it makes a big black bar around the entire video.

That just shouldn't happen and I don't understand why Avex would publish it like that. The video was shot 16:9 so should show up that way just like tracks 1-4. Weird no?

Apparently, avex is famous for not encoding their videos in "true" widescreen.

Blah. Lame. Do want CD+Blu-ray / Blu-ray concert nao.

^ABSOLUTELY on the BluRay GOD these videos would look so gorgeous in that clarity. Ahhhh.

Btw Sexy little things is still my fave video and the making of was really cool too. Anyone else loving this as much as me? :D

speaking of bluray, but they've now released DBSK's secret tour, and have begun releasing all of Ai Otsuka's concerts on bluray as well.... I've also seen a few others as well. Anyways, point being that i was VERY surprised when the Next Level Tour wasn't announced to have a bluray release with all these other popular avex artists getting them now.

Did the makings of Microphone or Sexy little things ever show the A World is One book being given??

^yeah want to know this as well. I'd think if she was SO touched by the gift that she'd most likely include it in the making-of clips. would be cool if she showed it off on TV or at some public event too.

It's too bad why Ayu's not on the Avex Blu-ray priority list... We hope that this can turn around and put the concerts (the Arena Tours, the Countdown Lives, and maybe a-nation also) into Blu-ray...

^Well DBSK's Secret Tour wasnt released onto bluray til about a month after the dvd, so maybe in another few weeks we will get a bluray of Ayu's NL Tour.

Tohoshinki's "The Secret Code Tour 2009" was first released as a normal dvd. After a few months, they announced that it would be released in bluray as well. I don't know about the other artist you mentioned.
They still can announce it for Ayu.

someone going to this tour should bring a big banner with "a world is one" written on it (if they are near the stage, so that she had to say sth about it! LOL maybe it appears on the next MC's DVD

I'm sure they are going to announce a bluray of NL Tour soon. As for Ai Otsuka her bluray's have been being released same day as the DVD. They've been coming out in sync as a DVD or Bluray option for purchase. I just hope this starts happening with MANY more artists including Ayu.
