Most of the time this happens with the first song that comes out. BLUE BIRD didn't change as much as Beautiful Fighters... STEP you sorta changed a lot and is this LOVE? remained pretty similar to the CM version and so on.

True true. I just hope we don't have to wait too long like we did with GREEN for the release lol.

Maybe those early ones were just demos or something. I wasn't around for those other ones, and I haven't seen many older CMs.

I remember the horrible anticipation in those months :laugh. I don't want to go through that again! And then when it came out, I couldn't stop listening to it, overplayed it, and now I can't go through the whole song :P.

I kind of expect us to get the single in mid July.

They were demos, I suppose. Like how anime theme songs are often short early versions before the final one is recorded. It's happened a lot with Ayu since sometimes CMs come out and songs aren't due to release on CD for MONTHS.

^Gah, I guess that's relatively not so long, but it makes me so impatient to have an amazing 15 second clip and then have to wait an unknown amount of time to get the full thing.

As Ayu fans, we really are spoiled.

I remember being very disappointed with the cd version of beautiful fighters. I liked the cm version.

I think it's possible that she recorded more songs. I remember a time when RnRC wasn't announced and I guess it was in January when so much people went to London.. many people here in AHS were wondering why the album wasn't announced and why she worked so long on this iirc..
If she did more songs than just the ones for RnRC, that would be an explanation.

I love the sound of it, it's got that upbeat yet melancholic feel, and I really love that from Ayu. I don't know why though, when I try to sing it, the chorus of 'Last Links' come out instead. :laugh
