There's a rumor that LEMONADE is going to be on iTunes Sunday night (24). I haven't listened to it yet because I think it's a huge BS that it's a TIDAL exclusive.

Zahara 25th April 2016 08:19 PM

I think that rumor was discounted. At least from what I read on ONTD.

^ The album is already available on iTunes :yes

Oh thank god lol.

oaristos 25th April 2016 11:46 PM

Well, after listening to the whole thing twice this afternoon I can say that Lemonade is my favorite album of hers. I always liked a song here and there, but Beyoncé never convinced me as a great artist before. However, this album is very solid and I don't think there's any track I dislike. It's risky and amazing.

Pray You Catch Me, Daddy Lessons, and 6 Inch are masterpieces.

Can't wait to watch the Lemonade Film later tonight!

^I have the exact same thoughts. It really is a great album. I've listened to it so many times already lol. My two favourite tracks are 6 Inch and All Night.

Agreed!!! I love Sandcastles too. It's so raw vocally. And Formation is such an amazing anthem

Heard the album today and I really love it. She came up with great music. It is much better than her first visual album.

Oh and, I did not watch the full version, yet - but I just clicked on some parts to see where the movie is going. OH MY GOODNESS, the visuals are so gorgeous! In love with the costumes!

I'll be at the opening show in Miami tonight for her tour! Sitting in A3, SO excited omg. I do hope she sings a lot of classics and not just the last two albums because they weren't my favorites...lol

oaristos 27th April 2016 06:19 PM

^ Lucky you! Have fun at the concert :yes

salina 30th April 2016 10:43 AM

enjoy the concert

We definitely had a great time! I may have drank a little too much. BUT it was a good show. I didn't know any of the new songs really, but the classics and older singles were really fun to listen to live.

I also saw DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Michelle Williams...lol

I think the "truth" about Lemonade is that it's so highly praised because it's very different from a commercial mainstream album. Sadly if you break the production and vocal performance down, you will find each song horribly lacking in terms of melody. Most of these tracks could NOT be played acoustically the way they are now. That's always the way I judge the quality of a song. Not how much $ was thrown at innovative production, but whether the song will work in a stripped down way.

Having said that, I do enjoy the album, but I vastly prefer I Am...Sasha Fierce. That album gets put down too much for the basic production. The melody and lyrics are beautiful. Plus, it has half a dozen classic hits. I don't think I will remember any of the Lemonade songs in a decade's time.

My favorite songs on Lemonade are Don't Hurt Yourself, Pray You Catch Me, Daddy Lessons and Love Drought.

I like this album a lot more than her self-titled album, though. That album is just too trashy for my taste...although XO is a masterpiece.

I am so happy, I just bought tickets for the Formation Tour. She will perform in Amsterdam in July. So thrilled, I needed to tell AHS immediately :D

Just realized I didn't even write down my own thoughts on the album! I really like it. I like it slightly more than BEYONCÉ. I've yet to watch the entire Lemonade clip but I did watch it up to Don't Hurt Yourself and I LOVE the visuals. I love the whole empowerment and forgiveness thing she has going on. My favorite tracks are Pray You Catch Me, Hold Up, Don't Hurt Yourself, Sorry, 6 Inch, Sandcastles, and Formation.

I love her new album. I didn't think she would top BEYONCÉ but it's definitely on the same level, if not even better.

After listening to Lemonade many times, I think I like it better than BEYONCÉ. To me it sounds like a natural evolution from her last album :yes

Omygod, guys, I just have to share my thoughts after yesterday, when I went to see Beyoncé on her Formation World Tour in Amsterdam!!!

Omygod, again, she is wonderful! It has amazed me how much power, confidence and self-control she has. The way Beyoncé performs is so appealing: this woman really owns that stage!

I was alone, but got along with the girl standing next to me. She knew the setlist by heart and pointed out all the set changes during the interludes or between te songs. According to her, the song Irreplaceable (she sang this one acapella after Sorry) was new and a great surprise. But Single Ladies was left out. It did not sound as if something or some song was 'missing' in this concert. Every song made sense in the acts and it was beautifully put together.
Also, I really liked that she'd cut the songs to a shorter length, so she could add more medley's, dancing and mashups. Most of the ballads were sung in full length, 1+1 in particular.
My favourite moment of the concert was the acapella of Love on Top. The whole stadium started to sing along and even continued the chorus non-stop. Eventually, she putted an end to it, but from the look of her face, she was very amused that we did so.

My story probably sounds like a typical Beyoncé concert. Needless to say, I had so much fun last night.

Next time she is coming to the Netherlands (or to wherever I will live in my life) I will definetely get better places. I sat to the left side of the stage, where I had a good view over the whole stage. I saw Beyoncé very well, but my view on the main stage was blocked by one of the tv screens. I couldn't see her dancing in the boxes(?) during Partition and Crazy in Love and the acrobat dancing in some sort of cubus (very similair to Ayu's Marionette performance from the last countdown) was completely out of sight.

To end this story, I included one of the pics I made during this concert:
