I've been reading through this thread since I ended up visiting ahs after the looongest time. And to be honest, I'm kinda dissapointed to see all this hatered in this thread.

When I got into k-pop, and SNSD (that was summer of '09), I had members I couldn't STAND and I had the members I LOVED. But after watching performance after performance, concept after concept, single after single and reality show after another, months and months, I simply could not hate a single member. We all have our faults, but to be honest, I learned to love all of them. WITH their "faults".

I realise there are some of you, who are new to this group, and are yet to discover things about the girls and their personalities, but please. Please, be patient and give those girls you hate another chance!

I used to strongly dislike Yoona when I first got into SNSD. For one I think it's because we are the same age, but she is dazzling and gorgeous and popular... and I'm not LOL
After hating her for her popularity for a half a year (because I thought she wasn't giving the spotlight enough to my favorite members...), I suddenly saw what a lovely, lively and dorky girl she is! It's not really her "fault" that she was given the status of being the center in SNSD. It was the company's choice. It makes perfect sence that Yoona is the middle. She was already quite well known when the group first debuted... and for goodness sake, look at the girl! She is a freaking MODEL :D And funny as well!

Sorry, I didn't mean to write such a boring and awful message, but I kinda got carried away. Keke! SNSD is 9. They wouldn't be anything without one of their members. So please, try to see the whole picture. :) I think the girls have said it lots of times: SNSD is like a family. 9 sisters. :)

PS. I think their 3rd korean album might be their best album ever!! Not a single bad song was on that album, it's a jackpot!
I really enjoy the repack of their Japanese album as well! I'm not usually too into remixes (especially since the official ones are usually quite boring), but these ones I really like! And Time Machine is a fantastic song too!

^ I agree with you; though I don't mind the hatred because everyone had their first time. Even until now I still had that certain that kind of members ranking in my mind based on my favorites but I love them all together as 9.
They are complementing each other and are as humane as we are. They make mistakes, they're not 'oh so flawless' but because of that they become flawless in my eyes.
I can feel connected and related to them, as if they are all my classmates after seeing them in action on shows :D

^^ Thank you! I've been a fan for a few years as well and it hurts when I see people hating on Yoona all the time. I haven't really disliked any member but I understand that not everyone is used to the girls or know them really well so of course they might get a bad impression sometimes. I wish everyone would realize that they're not perfect human beings and they all have their flaws, and just because they make some mistakes (ex. Seohyun's attitude on Dangerous Boys) doesn't mean they're automatically horrible people.

yep2..i felt the same way too when i first took interest on SNSD during Gee.. i've read a lot of bad comments about the girls, specially Tiffany and Jessica, like those haters put all the screencaps, fancams, gifs, whatever they could find to badmouth about Tiffany.
saying stuff like the girls were so rude to seniors.. no respect.. etc etc..
and that made me curious about the girls, specially Tiffany, the member that seems to be hated by a lot of people. when i started to know them, i really couldn't imagine Tiffany is like those people said, she definitely doesn't show any bad attitudes, in my POV.

but then, haters are always gonna hate, right?

I just watched the 4th ep of Dangerous Boys, it was great! The show is getting better and better by episode! The girls seem to take their job as mentors really seriously.
The therapy sessions with the boys were so intense, some of them seem to carry around deep wounds. I ended up crying. :(
I really hope the show (or the girls) gives them some hope and goals for the future...!

And congrats to our Soshi for winning the Digital Daesang at GDA! This is their third Daesang in a row... Hmm, do I smell a new record for a female group? :D
