OMG....since the Preview of How Beautiful You Are is out...the release for the album is nearly x33

truehappiness 26th December 2011 05:22 PM

Beautiful.

It's a medium ballad as it was stated to be.

Can't wait to hear it all! Though it seems like this portion of the song is the chorus so maybe the intro is more 'medium'?

brener 26th December 2011 05:31 PM

omg. i loved it... the piano reminds of Curtain call <3

freedreamer 26th December 2011 05:38 PM

Yuta Nakata doing the arrangement..I hope there'll be amazing stuff with the rest of the song :) maybe she'll do a full orchestra song like Kuu's Ashita e...

ayumisrael 26th December 2011 05:41 PM

It could also be the first chorus and the other choruses can be stronger, it already happened in ayu's songs before.
Nontheless it's really pretty, I love the you don't know, you don't know how beautiful you are part :D
Her english is very clear! I'm glad.

No, this definitely sounds like a YES era ballad or something, lol.

It doesn't really have anything to do with Ayu.

Mika Nakashima released an album called YES a few years back.

I like the touch of sound here, but I hate she sings in english again. She just ruins the seriousness of every song with her english. She sound so good when she's talking, this is weird. But I like how "Curtain call" sounds like, I like these ballads from her. Too bad it's a ballad, I hope we will get maybe one more on the album and that's it.

Lady_Eowyn 26th December 2011 07:11 PM

I haven't heard the preview, but from what i read i shouldn't have significant expectations. This has become highly predictable -_______-U :rolleyes another mid tempo ballad. Hopefully the rest of the upcoming release will have a couple of interesting songs.

JackieRos 26th December 2011 07:34 PM

her voice sounds great but I will never hear this song more than once.

love in music 26th December 2011 07:37 PM

it's just 30s so I can't really judge it that much since ayu has been known to have over 1m long piano intros to her songs but the rest of the song turns out epic/amazing. but as of right now i'm not liking the engrish.

njanjayrp 26th December 2011 07:43 PM

beh I can barely hear a thing...

But...her last albums have been the least predictable? I mean if we were at Secret or GUILTY...those were predictable. MY STORY pretty much, too. But right now? Love Songs had a music style I have yet to hear from anyone else and the majority of the FIVE songs had influences Ayumi hasn't worked with before(the anison influence in progress, the gregorian choir in BRILLANTE, a mid-tempo RnB sound...). Even happening here was a surprise.

Lady_Eowyn 26th December 2011 08:47 PM

^That's your opinion, not mine. I haven't found any single middle tempo ballad that appealed to me since Rock 'n' roll circus (meaning of love was booooooooring to death and ballad was slow tempo) don't think i'm gonna change my mind because you think different :laugh

isthisLOL? 26th December 2011 08:56 PM

I have no idea what you're talking about, please be more clear. You seemed to be talking about Ayumi's songs being predictable, now you suddenly talk about the quality of her midtempo songs being predictable? Gigantic difference. Which of the two are you talking about?
I was talking about albums being predictable, not the quality of Ayumi's music. I don't care if you like her songs or not.

Her albums have been highly unpredictable, not opinion, fact.

emi♡ 26th December 2011 09:22 PM

highly unpredictable, yet still somehow filled with all of these medium tempo songs :shrug

But, @Lady: I think this album will be different...idk why. I think she'll have some interesting songs...but if you'll like them, who knows lol I wonder if I'll like them...:laugh

pepper 26th December 2011 10:04 PM

FIVE besides "beloved" and "Why" was kinda fresh and unexpectable. She never do rnb. progress came up with rare sound for Ayu (this "epic ungenred piece") and BRILLANTE was totally new. And great visual presence was very unexpected for me (great shooting for covers and PV's) That's just my opinion. I hope this album will include all of the Ayu - unexpected (but fresh and good) and expected (but high quality). The same as (miss)understood album .______. which is perfect for me.
