I think they did get the 'best' treatment by being released as a photobook in a 'textless' form.

Yeah but they could have easily compiled a photobook to package with the album. I mean, who needs the new Party Queen photoshoot anyway?

I "like" the "naked PQ" booklet, but for me - it's just boring. Pictures itself are nice, but I dont like booklets with all the same stylization and many poses (just like Duty booklet) and I prefer when it's more clothes, hairstyles and backrounds so it would make a perfect booklet (those SUPER Ayu shoot)

If you put it like that, you're right! Totally didn't think about that factor.
I wonder if they meant it to look like that.
Because if I look at this as a photoshoot for a photobook, apart from the PQ album concept, I stick to what I said before.

I JUST saw the images of this...omg their so amazing!!! I see QUEEN and I see PARTY as seperate sections and I feel I know what they intended to do...i love the one where it is shot top down and there's this swirl at her leg...really artistic and the colours and beautiful

I love..love LOVE the booklet. Dang. I wish this execution would be shown on the PQ covers.. it's very obvious in the booklet! not to mention drop dead gorgeous!

The SUPER AYU pictures are stunning. Gorgeous photoshoots. But I'm very glad they weren't used for Party Queen. They would have butchered the concept. They are aesthetically pleasing, too aesthetically pleasing for the concept associated with the album. The pictures they used were perfect choices for the album and turned it into a 10/10 concept album.
But as an individual photobook I love it! Leslie Kee is just incredible at what he does and those are some of my favorite Ayu pictures, even if they aren't all too interesting.

Yes! I gave them to her when I met her and that night she tweeted me the photo in my signature saying she wore them for a shoot!!! And finally we see what shoot it was!

Not particularly fond of these shoots (unpopular opinion lol), and I know exactly why. It's the shade of purple used for the dress. It's gross. I also don't like the whole tutu style dress with crowns and that mesh shoulder shawl with those ripped fishnets, eeew. It's really... well, tacky is the only word. It's not as bad as the RnRC outfits though (that leather and tutu look... ugh).

I prefer the photos from NY in the sparkly mini dress, she looks so gorgeous and genuinely happy. These everyday type shoots are always her best. ♥

IDK but this photobook seems kinda lacking, like shouldn't there be more images? It should have been included with the album as a bonus photobook and the PoM photobook should have came with the DVD. Why not include the photos from the original Super Ayu book?

Just bought my photo book set today! Along with the deji deji nikki mini, Asia Tour 2007 DVD, PCDL blu ray, asia tour 2008 blu ray, and A SUMMER BEST 2CD+DVD ... like $350 smhhhhh lol
