If she ever comes to Germany again and I have time and can afford it, I will also go for sure. Actually her Onyx Hotel Tour was my very first concert when I as 14. lol I don't think she will ever do something as good as this tour again and I'm not very fond of her latest performances, but since I love her and am biased as hell, I would see her anyway.

OMG! Onyx Hotel Tour is my favorite one! :love Was she with brunette hair during the Germany concert?

Chibi-Chan 22nd May 2017 02:54 PM

^Oh since it's already 12 years since then, I can't say for sure. But I always remember her with a darker blond, almost brunette hair when I think back.

YUKARI 7th June 2017 07:03 PM

soo I went to Britney's concert yesterday!

it was great! I loved it. but I was sitting sooo far away. next time (if I ever have a chance to see her again) I need to find tickets close to stage.

and I never noticed how powerful and awesome 'Stronger' was!! like one of her best songs ever.

Isicio 7th June 2017 10:24 PM

^ you are so lucky I hope she come to Europe someday.

How was the setlist in general? Was it a Piece of Me like show or something different?

YUKARI 8th June 2017 08:39 PM

^ it was totally like a las vegas show. though I think she performed full songs mostly.

here's the setlist
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/britne...-43e77beb.html

Chibi-Chan 8th June 2017 08:52 PM

^that looks like a cool setlist! You You didn't like Stronger before? It's one of my all time faveourites and it also is one of the best "break up songs" ever. I actually prefer those over the whiny kind of break up songs. lol

YUKARI 8th June 2017 09:14 PM

^ I just never noticed the awesomeness of the song because all I thought about this song was that chair dance from PV and that's all. I mostly love her 'Britney' era. While I had Baby One More Time and Britney albums in my playlist 'Stronger' was just like a song from far childhood.

Gustavopc 8th June 2017 09:49 PM

Stronger is FANTASTIC. I never paid it much attention, but then someday added it to a workout playlist and when it came on shuffle I was like "oh well that's some life anthem stuff here tbh" :laugh

I regret not going :( but I just couldn't afford it at the time. Bad timing for me xD

Bumped up this Britney thread, because I went to see her yesterday in Mönchengladbach, Germany. The venue was smaller than I thought, but it was packed! We (my best friend and I) stood in the lines for ages, but still managed somehow to drink two cocktails, eat, go to the loo and buy merch, without missing the opening act Pitbull (oh yes.. he is alive too) Normally, I really don't drink, so after these two cups and in my new Piece of Me Tour-shirt, let's say I was very ready for Britney to perform! 45 min later, the show finally started and I had good spot on the stage.

She performed all of her biggest hits, and all up tempo songs. Only Toxic's beginning was ballady, turning into the original uptempo after the first chorus. I didn't recognize some of the newer songs, except Make Me... Britney wore the same outfit (some black lingery body suit) with sometimes a mixed up with a short skirt or coat. Damn, she looks really fine, and no surprises that she began the tour with Work Bitch. She dances to each of her songs, without singing a note live. Literally, she playbacked the entire show, her microphone only went on to thank an audience guy that got whipped during Freakshow or to say goodbye to us. She doesn't also really cover up the fact she didn't sing live, but even though that sounds like a disappointment (or a meeted expectation when you go to see Britney), her energy is amazing so nobody does really care about the playback. Plus, Britney danced really good. Me and my friend danced and sang along with the hits and we had a great time. After the show we got compliments (or maybe annoyed sneers, but we like to think that the crowd we stood in were nice people) for our dancing.

Seriously, best night of 2018!

^I'm sooo jeaulous! Last time I saw her was for the Circus tour and of course she announces three dates in Germany when I'm in Tokyo. lol
Glad you had a good time!

xLuna&1LOVE 14th August 2018 10:15 AM

^ ha, I am jealous of you for having the opportunity to see Ayu a couple of times. I am so afraid I will never be able to see her. Japan is so far away and I never got the budget to 'just do it'. I have a job now that could pay for this dream, but I am very bound to the schoolholidays. So fingers crossed!

I read that the venue hold about 16000 people. It felt less haha, but my friend told me she sold out so very fast. Hopefully it is a sign she will do another tour in some years, and that you'll be back in Germany :)

Chibi-Chan 14th August 2018 03:58 PM

^haha yes, that's true! And it really is expensive to fly to Japan from Europe. Since I knew when I would be going to Tokyo for my semester abroad, I booked the flight tickets almost a year in advance, that made it less expensive. I hope you can also see her soon!

Maybe they used a setup for the arena that holds less people? Most arenas' seating can be changed so that it won't be 16000 people but 10000 instead.
I also hope she will do a tour again soon, but I doubt it. The whole point of the Vegas show was that she hadn't to go on tour.
But I have to say, I REALLY want new music!

Too bad she skipped coming to Finland... again xD I think she's been here once, maybe..? :D

I just wanted to say that even though I understand it can be frustrating to watch someone perform without singing live, when it comes to Britney, it doesn't bother me as much because after 17 years of being her fan - I see her as a performer/entertainer rather than a singer. She does shows and if she were to sing live, she wouldn't be able to. Also, Britney doesn't seem as much invested as her own career as to say Ayu or Namie-chan, or even Pink. For Britney, the stage, outfits and everything is done for her, so performs, and goes home to her kids. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just different. Anyway, I might be totally wrong of course, this is just how I view it. Nice you had an awesome time! <3

Anyone here ever bought Fanatasy The Nice Remix? The newer ones all come without the little "necklace", so it seems and I want it so bad. =(
I had one years ago but I lost it while moving and I want one for my new bottle. Anyone has it and is willing to sell it?

Also, if anyone has a Britney perfume they don't use and want to sell, send me a pm!
