you are really talented

And regarding the single..I hope she gives us another hint, or at least some short previews

Urgh, could Avex just hire artcika and some of the other talented people from AHS??!! marekcarey and Tatsuya7 had such simple yet elegant CDL logo ideas and that single cover is beautifully detailed in all the right ways. It seems Ayu's team throws everything and the kitchen sink at logos and overdoes them but often go too simple for cd covers without much thought for font, mood and the opportunity for background scenery...

So awkward when you are not fond of "overstyled/shopped" pictures. I do not want to be mean, but ignoring is just hard when there are two topics about this. Either way, you are really good at photoshop (without doubt, it's crazy) but the result does not dazzle me, unfortunately. But hey you have fans enough, so whatever.

Sorry for the negativity. Though I am so happy to see people being inspired again. Fan art had been off for a long time.

If there's a God, he won't let something like that happen...

I really love the fanmade cover!

Why? Variation isn't bad especially if her own team is obviously lacking in the creativity department. Ayu's covers stopped being interesting 4 years ago...

jbrat2219 15th November 2014 06:14 AM

I think the only "interesting" covers ayu has ever had are her remix albums.

TheRainbow 15th November 2014 07:23 AM

I think Party Queen is interesting in its own unique way. :P

Ooh I would like this, but specifically I like the one where she's standing and the background is light blue. That one was in my taste more superior than the lying-down ones.

Hey the building behind reminds me of Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel :laugh

well to each their own. Even though there's really very minimal styling an photoshoping in this appart from the background. I am not a fan of overdoing things myself, i don't use topaz on my works unless i have a poor quality photo to work with. I do make things more complicated though since i've been making photomanipulations more, than simple stuff. BUT let me tell you that i have seen photographs that are increadibly artistic and detailed yet right and would work for covers, however Ayu doesn't have those kind of people on her team so we're probably getting something like usual - a studio shot with bad typography. We will be very very lucky if we get anything like You were.../BALLAD in terms of a photo..as for the typography... there isn't many examples in her career where they got that right. There isn't a need to go all the way, but her team realy needs to put a bit more effort and thought in everything they do regarding covers. there are a lot of simple ones out there that don't look fancy but has right amount of effort put into them. Just 40% more of what they do now and they could get something nice!

i like those covers more as well, i did like the laying down ones too! they were pretty, the text looked better on the blue ones though.
Also that building i used in the background is Château de Chambord in France. An enormous and breathtakingly beautiful piece of French Renaissance architecture. It would make a gorgous backdrop for a photoshoot to someone like Ayu.

That was a little unnecessary.. There are nicer ways to say something isn't to your taste.

Amazing fanmade covers! "PrinceSam" should learn from you!

Toniayu123 15th November 2014 05:02 PM

It has been confirmed there isn't any PV?
Btw, I just read on the bottom page of that news on Ayu's website that there is a limited edition being prepared for TA...I don't know if it will contain exclusive contents or just goodies, it would be cool if it included one music video at least or a live.
Edit: amazing cover artcika!!! <3

End1ess_sorr0w 15th November 2014 05:05 PM

I wish she'd go back to making more thoughtful covers like Endless sorrow or I am... I don't care for the ones that look like she did them for a magazine photo shoot. But as long as the music is good ...I don't care haha

Pieces_of_SEVEN 15th November 2014 05:10 PM

TA version?! Ahhhh I'm gonna need to somehow get that...shouldn't global TA be opening soon?
