Loving Sorrows :heart The lyrics break my heart a little

I had read it, but I believed that they were kind of CM videos that were saying that both songs'll be available respectively on 01/08 and 02/08 and not the links for the previews themselves since, well, we are not supposed to have the links for videos that aren't published publicly. XD So, it's just my thought that was wrong as it's actually the links for the next previews. X_X

Uh oh. Damn, that longer preview sucked. Gives me A ONE vibes now. No wait, the yukumi A ONE tracks are BETTER than what we've heard of Sorrows so far. Praying for Shape of Love and Sky High more than ever now.

There's something about her recent "rock" songs that make them sound way too... digital. I'll need a HQ version to judge, but it sounds like "Sorrows" is another highly programmed "Last minute" type track.

Will we ever get another "arena rock" track like "Heartplace"? Or perhaps a song that has a fantastic balance of both organic instrumentation and synthesizers like "fated" and "Because of You"?

I got the same feeling too. Not like I dislike when she release a rock track (thank goodness she's still do lmao), but I wish the instrumentals sound much more real than digitilized. Actually I think I'm the only one who would love another Humming 7/4. Don't know why is so hated, since it's her most true rockish song out to date XD. I don't know, I'd even like something rockish but fun and happy to listen to like Flower Garden.

The preview of Sorrows sounds pretty good! Can't wait for the full album ^^

BlackSilence 31st July 2015 06:08 PM

i could never ever lose fate in this woman with sings like Sorrow. I'm already in love with that song. I just hope it will have a build up in arrangement during verses.

As for the digital sound...i think very little recordings in todays music are actual instruments. Moreover with todays technology you can get a pretty realistic sound. I'd love another HEARTPLACE, it's one of my most favourite songs. I think symphonic orchestra and e.guitars, the heavy sound of them and orchestra's raw tones is one of the best combinations in music. That's probably one of the reasons why i love melodic symphonic rock.

Funny you mention that because Humming played this morning on shuffle, and the arrangement sounded so refreshing! I forgot how much of a jam that is.

The dude who arranged Humming was a one-time arranger, IIRC.

My TOP:
1 - Sayonara
2 - Sorrows
3 - Shape of love
4 - Summer Diary
5 - Step by Step
6 - Sky High

DonkeyKongRemix 31st July 2015 09:16 PM

The preview for Sky High on Amazon makes me excited for it again. It is a little Fairyland-ish. And Sorrows is a bit Last Minute ish but it sounds a little higher quality to me. I hated the horrible quality and fakeness of Last Minute, though I loved it otherwise.

And the preview for Sayonara made me actually like it better. I can't believe it. I like the beat a bit better now, but I'm still annoyed with it. :S

So, I guess I'd only get this album for the last three songs, though I do like Summer Diary quite a bit.

Can't wait to get the leak tomorrow, why do her albums always leak on saturdays? Is that because the chinese fans get them before everyone else?
