if Winter Diary would be only one balladesque song on the album I dun mind it. Like she did on Party Queen <3 that was amazing.
i also don't mind one heavy-dance-house song, as long if it doesn't come as Colours 2 album. One is enough.

I know she did (I myself mentioned it some days ago that when she said so it probably was a new album and not A BEST she was talking about), but it was back a month ago... I mean, she could have decided to pause it and focus on A BEST and maybe remixes? Contacting with new producers? She might not be planning to put out an album soon, and might not be working on it now - that's the point I failed to make, sorry :laugh Probably she herself hasn't even wondered if she'll put WD on the next album :shrug

Working on an album can be a pretty generic statement, that's why I think it's pointless to discuss if WD will be on the next album or not

of course the tracklist is her own decicion. What do you people think how this stuff works? In most cases it is not the company that contorls everything. They probably say stuff like "we need a new album" "you should take a more safe direction" and so on...but they will never say "you have to record that song" or so in this stage of an artist career and I'm üretty sure ayu would refuse to. She is one of the richest people in Japan...she would simply quit her contract at avex if this was the case. Music is important to her, and if you like it or not, those listed cases were her own stupid decicion. She is just struggeling somehow and its sad yes, but you can not simply deny that fact. Yet again, no one ever sad she is the smartest woman on the world, she has expirence yes, but she is also just a human being.

Oh god, me too! for my own sake!! seeing it on an album track list will make me cringe. it will almost certainly fuck up any feel/theme/concept that this album may have lol :P :P

I don't think it couldn't be worked in, but after You & Me being tacked onto LOVE again, I don't think Ayu would do this gracefully with Winter diary.

Honestly, I think it will be on the album, likely as a bonus at the very end. At this point, the albums have been scaled back so much that we spent more than a dozen pages on the A ONE thread flipping out over how cool a Bell would be because it was the first interlude in two and a half years. :rolleyes

Ayu has been adding singles that don't fit the album's concept for a looong time. It is possible that she won't add Winter diary, but I don't think that it makes no sense to think that she will.

Do not try to back your hypotheses by citing logic when it comes to avex decisions. We all know they don't give a fuck about what makes sense, aesthetically or conceptually.

According to her twitter, ayu is in London again. Wonder if she'll be recording there or not.
