That’s pretty sweet. I don’t expect it to chart much higher anymore bu I’m glad that the announcement of the 2nd single this month + the online concert seem to also have an impact on ohianoki <3

The charts were helped probably by people seeing the song on the news in the morning. A lot of people didn't know about Ohia no Ki or even that Ayu had a baby!

I like this song eventhough a generic ballad..

It's the same for me, the melody is nice, even though the arrangement is generic, been humming it the past couple of days.

The single apparently climbed to #14 in the second week and sold another 5,800+ copies bringing it over 10k in sales.
