so pommy u can read chinese then, i can only read a little ... and i actually like those ashita e no sanka pics where her hair's all over the place looks kinda cool hehe, by the way i love ur ayu set.

@Maemi i was raiding all over the web random alan bbs sites, blogs etc

just the whole over blue of ashita e no sanka pic make it not appealing..i think it's just the eyes that's bothering me lol

thats cool u can read most pommy im BBC (british born chinese) but my parents from Hong Kong, i should have learnt to read and write better when i was younger...

i'm pretty ok, i moved to the US when i was 6 @_@ so yeah...but i watch an extreme amount of asian dramas, so i pick up a lot of word here and there
but i'm like an ABC (american born chinese) but i was born in taiwan
i can read most, and write very little! but i can speak fluently~ so that's pretty good, and i'm taking chinese as my 2nd language in high school :lech :lech, so i'm learning pinyin..but i don't like simplified chinese >_< i prefer traditional, i like the many strokes!

THAT WALLPAPER! i wish i had that thing where i can rotate wallpapers every min...@_@ so many wallpapers to use...so little..time..no so BIG limitations :D
so i'm wondering...did you just happen to make one 1024x768...or you know that there'll be an angry alan fan named pommy coming toward you with a pitchfork and nagging if you didn't :innocent

oh good for you learning traditional it was such a pain for me when i was learning but its worth it in the end even though i only know a small selection, so im guessing you speak mandarian then ? i can speak cantonese fluently would love to learn mandarian though


BTW u can rotate wallpapers on ur computer , found 2 freeware softwares that should do the trick

yep mandarin chinese ^_^~ i can understand like 1/1 million words in cantonese lol, they sometimes sound the same, my parent keep wanting me to learn mandarin cause it's going to be a global language, good for jobs, blah blah

oh great u can understand cantonese ! but also i prefer taiwanese mandarian, mainland mandarian is so much harder to understand hehe. but yeah mandarian is better for jobs in the future as china's market is getting much bigger now.
but saying that i learnt japanese for 2 years dont think my dad was too pleased with that haha :P

japanese is great if you want to go into technology wish..i wish i could learn japanese...just for ayu and other songs haha

yeah i hard accents get even worse as its gets further up north lol but basically i started learning japanese just because of jpop and anime really lol and alan has a really nice accent i can understand stuff she says

i mean her accent in chinese i can kinda pick up words here and there, i have a friend from a province near shanghai i think its Hong Zhou or something but i can hardly understand her accent lol.

and yeah alan is adorable in the lipton ad i think there isnt a CM out but i will keep my eyes peeled if there is one hehe or any CM's infact

i can understand~ but her chinese songs..when she's singing, i think she tend to make the last syllable very round..like the way she sings in japanese
and it'll be cool if she did and her water single song has a tie-in with it!

yeah her voice when she is singing in chinese is amazing especially with her 心战 song all the words are so clear and well pronounced, thats why i had a hard time adjusting to japanese version of the song cos the words stuck right in mind.

lol the drunk on moonlight ? well ashita e no sanka is a song that grew on me and has stuck with me ever since it was released, i really hope she does a mandarian version XD

i EXTREMELY love ashita e no sanka!!! i really she made it into a mandarin version too...but sakura modern was very nice as well!

oh lol well im gonna listen for the drunken part then hehe, Ashita e no sanka is the reason why im such a big alan fan in the first place >< , but alan has done a great job with her mandarian remakes, just as much love and passion has been poured into her singing in both versions
