Oh yay level up!

TITANIC 16th April 2009 04:34 PM

hopefully it will back to top 5

SolarAngel 16th April 2009 04:55 PM

Despite the less than stellar sales of Next Level, one encouraging thing is that it's charting well against other albums. This shows that comparatively, ayu is still one of the top artistes in Japan and for the ranking to move up, it just show how front-loaded sales of other albums are, not just ayu's.

The only depressing thing is how much lower can it go? I honestly though Guilty has bottomed-out in terms of sales (not quality). Is the next album even going to reach platinum? It's depressing me in this regard.

But i'm still excited for ayu, that she's still setting records, even with Next Level and she's singing all the songs in this album and performing for all the a-nation concerts. Her heart is really in it for her fans.

The raise of positions to 7th is GREAT!!

Go Ayu!

I hope that she can break at least 350ks...

Thanks for the sales update!!

rakeru 16th April 2009 09:24 PM

yay, 2 positions up!

i wonder if the economy gets better soon (haha, hypothetically) that Ayu's sales would increase dramatically, or if people in general are just tired of her. naturally it would at least increase just a little bit (unless something drastic happens), but i wonder by how much?

noidea 16th April 2009 09:55 PM

I think it would increase by the same amount all the industry increases, maybe a little less, maybe a little more(because people spend money on food for example anyway xD so they probably wont spend way more on that, but spend more money on other things they dont necessarily need, CDs for example).

hikaricore 16th April 2009 11:19 PM

^Yeah that's pretty accurate.
I think they'll bounce up to at least GUILTY's level, if not higher.
A Complete showed that people aren't tired of her. You don't sell 850K of a really expensive single collection if people are tired of you or don't like you.

Jwiz 17th April 2009 12:47 AM

^ A COMPLETE has a "tenth anniversary price", which means that it is being sold at a lower price.

Chef+Vanny 17th April 2009 11:52 AM

top #10! gotta go to the NEXT LEVEL

Tasked 17th April 2009 11:52 AM

If it's got consistancy like this throughout the entire tour, this album might even acchieve some nice numbers ;)

Meat Pao 17th April 2009 12:13 PM

I feel so relieved knowing Ayu's positions are going higher :p

TITANIC 17th April 2009 12:47 PM

position maybe higher but not the sales.. I'm pretty sure the sales will be half from last week

Tony G 17th April 2009 01:05 PM

Yeah. It just means everything around it is selling worse.

Yeah, I was hoping it won't drop below 15k though.

joshohhhhh 17th April 2009 01:21 PM
