I'm open to the outcome of the HOUSE album, I won't rule it out yet. I'm sure if he's Ayu, it's going to be good (at least I enjoy the majority of all her remix albums).

I do like that, if the ayu-mi-x house sounds like that, BUT with words, then this would be fantastic

I hope there are at least a couple songs in this style of house on it. I don't know many of these remixers though to be honest. :o

People should just go to google and type in some of the remixers names. Or even type them into google to get a feel for some of them. I was doing that last night with some of the euro stuff.

TeamAyu2004 15th March 2011 05:57 AM

^ there was a thread somewhere that someone had found songs from the remixers.. wish i could find it.

I think Ayu-mi-x 4 is the best example of how i like my remixes.. theres like 2 slow tracks for the "cool down" and then two or three tracks with no words.. Ayu trance 2 does it too.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with some of them either. I know Hex Hector and Shinichi Osawa (I LOVE THE STARTIN' REMIX I DON'T CARE WHAT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOBODY SAYS!) and Jonathan Peters.

Yeah the older Hex Hector and Jonathan Peters were really good, i hope they havent changed much over the past, what 10 years?? I think those were the last remixes they did with ayumi?

this is just my opinion..
i'm a lover of the house music since the 90s and i love the evolution of the genre
specially the "diva house"
but seriously, the japanese djs into house style really sucks!
the only interesting house remixes of ayu are made it by north american and some european (just a few) djs.

the rest of the house remixes taked from cd singles sound really amateurish, tasteless and second class

the "other side of ayu" and "excerpts from ayu" collections are the best example of great House music from the past years.
hex hector, junior vasquez, thunderpuss, rauhofer all of them was eminences of house

btw: the "driving hits remixes" of koda...sucks big time!...the cheapest house music ever

Is that really necessary...?

(EDIT)

Believe it or not, I'm just now hearing ayu trance 2 for the first time and it's a giant compilation of ayu trance and ayu trance 3?! And some trance from singles? What?

{EDIT}

I always wondered why I never really listened to ayu trance 2 specifically and now I remember why.... I've heard most of these remixes on other albums/singles xD;

The majority yes but the new one sounds AMAZING!

I want to buy this!!!!! ♥ ♥ XDD
I have to to save my money for this =="

douggn 15th March 2011 07:47 AM

I agree with the koda driving hits being crap, it had a few ok tunes but nothing like this is really good but ayus had more experience with remix`s and is the most remixed artist in the world (or well last I read a few years ago) so the house ver should be decent

Kanzaki 15th March 2011 09:10 AM

Groove Coverage did Poison, right? It had that 90's techno feel to it.
My bf is gonna love these albums, especially the trance one.

You and I obviously would not get along. I love the Driving Hit's series.

And you bringing it up and bashing on it was unnecessary.

Well seeing as how ayu trance 3 came out after, it was just the full versions of the ones from 2. I prefer 2 though, because I love non-stop mega-mixes of remixes.

miki_beland 15th March 2011 01:45 PM

oh no it's postponed =( =(

Pieces_of_SEVEN 15th March 2011 02:53 PM

Yeah I was skimming around the tracks at first but then I realized it was non-stop which makes it really cool! <3

TeamAyu2004 15th March 2011 03:24 PM

^ lol, yeah I love the nonstop... i dont like Ayu Trance 3 as much because a portion of the songs are the same from the previous Ayu Trance. But when some mentioned that they are "full tracks" I think its a little more understandable.. lol

jbrat2219 15th March 2011 03:38 PM

I'm not even sure which is my favorite ayu trance is... I mean, now that I know 2 had the best of both worlds it would be the logical choice but... I mean 3 has some AMAZING mixes and 1 has major nostalgia for me... I don't know... xD; Hopefully 4 will become my favorite and settle this debate hahahah.
