I also wonder where did that come from? For someone who's been on tour since her debut you can hardly say she is giving up her job as a singer. There hasn't been a single year without her having at least one tour :)

I dont think you get what im trying to say... there are most likely people that are following her that have no idea who she is because they just want to follow her.
People are weird, they want to get the most follows or something...
its like face book... there is no way that 1 person KNOWS 2000 people or other stufff like that. You can have fans and what not, but there are people at there that just want to follow or 'befriend' everyone.

Im just as out of all her followers how many of those actually 'follow' ayumi.

And I don't think you are getting what I'm trying to say... Ayu is very active on twitter, and her constant messages can be easily seen as spam. Someone who doesn't like here or don't care enough about her can get easily annoyed by her on Twitter.... Even some fans are. Aso, I don't know how following Ayumi would get you more friends... Liking Ayu is considered very uncool on Japan these days...

If there are like... 300 people following Ayu just of the sake of following her, it's a lot. Those people u r discribing aren't at a relevant number and are part of any celebrity twitter

And in Japan, 200k people caring about your music enough to buy it, or keep your tours filled, can keep you relevant enough to continue working :shrug

Absolutely. When you see bands like ONE OK ROCK who are getting more popular selling 100k with their studio album and that's considered a real success and AAA struggling to sell 100k even with the best ofs and they're prolly in their prime now, one can hardly say Ayu isn't earning lots of cash for avex.
