Ayaka - number one Okay, here's the scoop: I pre-ordered the CD-only version (not willing to hassle with the DVD), and I ordered it through CDJapan air mail (cheaper than EMS)... Now, usually, you'd think EMS, which is more expensive, is going to get home faster, right? It only shipped this Monday...but I just got it this Wednesday! Only two days!!! And no signature necessary! I just don't understand why the *cheaper* air mail options is FASTER than EMS - and no visit to the post office either! Anyways, I'm still disgusted with its #11 daily ranking and the fact it's going to be two consecutive weeks that Johnny's will complete the (my dreaded) single-album Oricon weekly chart sweep, right on the heels of the next big AKB48 release... |

So there's that. Now the wait can vary by a matter of 2-3 days depending on the carrier. They usually send mail when the plane carrying the mail is full. So if your package arrives at the carrier when the plane is almost full, then your package will leave right away and you won't have to wait, but if it's in the first batch, then it can take some extra time. So it's just a question of good timing/luck in the end ;) My last 4 airmail packages arrived in 4 working days, but it can take up to 10 days. |
