For me, the song wore out after a handful of listens. Far too generic and cookie-cutter for Ayu, the "LOVE again" nostalgic era needs to end right now.

'Generic' and 'cookie cutter' are pretty normal for her TV/movie tie-in tracks. The drama is pretty popular, so the song has been doing okay, I think.

The album should be rather different unless she took the producers' compositions and had Yuta arrange everything like Hello new me. Even Ayu herself wanted to go in a completely new direction with this album and then something made her want to reel it in so it wasn't TOO far outside the 'Ayu' feel.

LOVE again was enough for me of the nostalic stuff. this one sounds like it came out from the "not used" folder. lol it's not bad but i am not a fan of her voice there and well it's kind of like everythign else she's done.

Compare HANABI 2003 a-nation to HANABI Asia Tour 2008. There you go, lol.

Is it? She hardly ever has happy, breezy songs like this. It's usually emo music or over-the-top happy like Beautiful Fighters.

There are no numbers for Recochoku until it gets certified. How's it doing on iTunes now?

Yeah, no numbers, only daily and weekly positions. It was #5 yesterday, you check it on their page, it's updated everyday around 6AM (Tokyo Time). I was updating its positions on the single's generasia page too but I'm not having much time for it right now, so if someone can do that, it would be pretty helpful. Unfortunatelly Recochoku doesn't archive their ranking positions, so a day missed is a day that will lack forever.. :(

It was number one on one of the days this week. I think it was on the day after the drama aired. It's doing well on both the singles chart and the Uta chart.
