The rikaichan extension says "意気地なし" can be translated as "coward" so my take on the translation is "Bye-bye summer. Bye-bye me, who was a coward"

I think she's trying to say that she's saying goodbye to the old her, a person without confidence. With the new season will come a new her, who is now confident. To put it simply.

Not having confidence doesn't necessarily have to relate to her body though.

Sometimes people post pictures like that because they don't have confidence, so they need validation.
But Ayu seems to be the kind to not be confident about decisions and not necessarily her body.

Want to know it too. I was waiting for another japanese meltdown after first topless photo with apologising from ayu and erasing all posts. But nothing happend. Or maybe ayu just stop to read comments and pay attention to what fans saying?

I think a lot of people liked that one. A lot of replies seemed to be like "I want to see her from the other side~" and such.

I follow her on Instagram and at every picture she gets nice comments. I haven't seen many which were negative. But she is not replying anymore, which I think it's bummer, because that is not happening anymore since the meltdown of... yeah, what was it again?
I totally forgot about it. It was not even interesting.

@pommy48, are you just referring to comments of Chibi-Chan and Refix (last one wasn't neccessairy 'annoyed' in my opinion) because I would like to know where you are reading those negative comments. I am not seeing them.

In case you meant me, I'm not annoyed by her posts at all. I just didn't really understand what she meant by it. Some people explained (Thank you for all your explanations btw!) and I think I got it. I didn't mean to offence.
