I thought the pic with the santa dress was so cute, I wish I was at that Christmas show~

But what is wrong with recycling outfits? I mean it is hard to always come up with new things and most of her outfits aren't that horrible. Would love to see the big one (that looks similar to the Last Minute one) as it seems to have another bodice.

I think it's because we just saw pictures of her.
I mean, MY 2017 year was quite difficult if not horrible. BUT if you check my instagram, you'll see selfie of me where I smile, the books I bought and I read, pictures in vacations etc... you do not imagine how much I suffered internaly.

So, Ayu seemed happier but we really don't know. Pictures are just that and we show what we want to show, nothing else.

I think its a combination of being spoiled by Ayu's previous tours + expectations for a star of her caliber. Image is key with most (if not all) pop girls, and Ayu hasn't given us music in a while so something new to be excited for would be nice!

Honestly, if she got rid of her 234566432 dancers she'd probably have a better costume budget.

This santa dress got me, she looks so lovely lol And I'm usually not into cute costumes, but that was just on point

I like her boots, but for hair I like the CDTV version. I don't like the hat. Notice she only change the bust line of that costume.

I would like to see more private pictures, not just from concerts. Also, instagram stories. That would be very interesting.

I think she's hit an okay balance. I like the content she is putting out on IG right now.

Personally, I think that it's okay to recycle outfits for now if she is doing it to save for the big live next year.

To me that christmas outfit don't even count as recycling lol It was probably only used on the 25th date so they weren't going to invent a whole new thing just for it + i completely forgot about that hey!hey!hey! performance so it feels like new to me.

Same here, I didn’t even remember the live but it isn’t even an outfit that she can wear more than twice a year (at most). I rather how it was styled now than back then (I’m not here for 2013 gyaru Ayu).

Tour costumes that she’s worn before are a different story since I feel that a new tour should be refreshing, not recycling. But if her Japanese fans are cool with that it’s really all that matters since they’re the ones keeping her touring.

The reused costumes wouldn't be such a big deal if Ayu's fans just enjoyed the performance for what it is. Instead they have to go through the Ayu archives to compare the new outfit to the previous ones to see if they are similar.:shrug
To me it's just a cute and festive Christmas costume.:xmas

its part of the fun, you don't have to police people on finding similarities either because its not THAT serious.

When I say big deal I didn't mean it was creating a problem or someone was negative. Just that the whole recycling of costumes wouldn't be such a common topic around here or big deal if fans weren't tracking every outfit Ayu appears in. We would not notice unless it was obvious.
And I am not policing anyone. I didn't say "you can't do that".

Tracking? Some of us have a great memory :D

Some people around here are REALLY into fashion, some even work on this field, so, remembering those stuff isn't surprising at all
