I wonder if this is in response to it being an English Album or because she just released her last Album last year and her material is only acceptable after long periods of inactivity and people are tired of her right now. I dunno, I think the sound is a lot better for mainstream American music. So, I have my fingers crossed that the album does better over here.

Yes, she does mention the Captain in "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence".
She talked about that reference in an interview weeks ago as well. She also mentioned that she referenced the Kleptomaniac Winona Ryder in one of her songs too. |

I still don't know why This Is The One's released on a Sat instead of a Wed , I just hope Oricon will factor in the weekend sales into next week even though in this case I don't know it will work :shrug

people don't usually buy releases on weekends, so i think the "real" sales will be out by wednesday? :shrug
