I love how she gave such a class answer; she didn't feel the need to get aggrivated and defend herself, but rather, she defended other people who have their own reasons, different or the same to her own, for only graduating junior high school. And I do agree with what she said; I think that the effort people put into what they want to do with their lives outshines just going to school.

There are people who half-arsed their way through school and college; so? Just because they completed it they should get some big medal for it? If they did nothing at all there than it's not that much better than if they didn't go at all, right?

I loved her answer and I'm glad that she did answer.

i am SO proud of her for the way she responded to that idiot! :)
i love it that she stood up for other people.

emi♡ 3rd October 2010 02:03 AM

What did she even say to get that response from someone :laugh

In any case, Ayu's got class :yes

inorite. I just graduated college and everyone makes a huge deal about it, but to be honest? I didn't do anything. I just slept most of the time and ate and did some hw at times, lol. Oh, and a lot of computer games. And now I'm unemployed! haha.

That whole ordeal is just ridiculous. It was probably just somebody trying to get a rise out of her.

freedreamer 3rd October 2010 02:52 AM

Holy! I love her answer! I saw this on tokyohive hahaha..she's so amazing.

Kazeyomi 3rd October 2010 03:15 AM

It doesn't matter if you study or not, if you're stupid you will remain stupid :rolleyes

Lol, how rude I am :laugh
Seriously, I hate when people point out those things. And Ayu's even more smarter than him/her, she's got class :yes

yuki_unmei 3rd October 2010 03:54 AM

^true, there's plenty of "educated idiots" in the world :laugh

asmAyumi1992 3rd October 2010 04:19 AM

Lanz16 3rd October 2010 04:34 AM

Yes, quoting myself here. Are these idiots really serious? I mean nobody knows the reason why others quit school. They don't have a right to judge and I think it was brilliant of Ayu to reply with such a great answer - that just shows how emotionally intelligent she is, and that counts more than any book-knowledge. But I wish she wouldn't reply at all to such tweets.

And on the issue of education, I have to agree with Calico. Nobody even cares if you graduate college or whatever with good grades. You don't get a job only with a good graduation certificate these days anymore.

same here, she should ignore them but also i like to see how she replies with class, our princess is a very smart woman.

Lol that person proved how stupid and jealous he/she is just by writing that thing. There is a reason why Ayu is Japan's biggest female artist. She's working really hard for her dream, for her fans and that isn't much more to say to that then "good for you! Youre doing awesome!".

TheBaronAndAyu 3rd October 2010 10:26 AM

it's funny because everybody loves Ayu and she is rich and this person is a nobody and has no friends ha ha haaaaa

...But seriously, go Ayu. :cool

Murderqueen 3rd October 2010 11:19 AM

I'm so glad that Ayu replies to these things so maturely. That alone shows that she, a junior high drop out, is much smarter, kinder, and more mature than that person, who probably graduated college and thinks they are better than people who didn't. Ayu really is a wonderful person! ^^

jbrat2219 3rd October 2010 03:37 PM

Ayu is so classy it hurts! >_<;

It makes me so happy that she stood up for people who didn't finish high school. My own father didn't finish high school and he now makes a lot of money working with the government defending our country, enough money to put me (and my 5 other siblings) through college. I also know people who graduated from college and have been unemployed for YEARS afterwards. Having a higher education doesn't guarantee you success. My dad always says to me it's not about what you know, it's about who you know. You can have all the talent and skill in the world but sometimes if you have no one to vouch for it, it's incredibly hard to get a job. (Which is why so many college now have career programs to help you get a job after graduation). In this case, Ayu had Max Matsuura and he helped turn her into a success. She is by no means "unintelligent" because she dropped out of high school. She was smart enough to know what she did and did not want in life when so many of us follow society rules that say you HAVE to have a higher education to be a success. She knew that was not for her and it worked out in her benefit. Nothing wrong with that at all.
