no you were right, it came from meme bae got me slippin /

the girl misspelled the word babe in the viral picture and the word caught on after twitter people started using it ironically, people just attached that random acronym to make it make sense but really the origin is much dumber:laugh

anyway shocked and happy that kuu pulled out with such respectable numbers for this single

Zahara 15th August 2014 06:24 PM

What's "ew" about the truth. Kuu would pull that for a song title lol

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Corvina 16th August 2014 08:58 AM

This is so great!
It evrn offers more than the japanese Koda Gumi - the playroom blog is included!
Just registered.
I wonder how much it will cost. Probably around 50-60 €.
That`s alright. If you take both FCs in Japan, it`s about the same.

Utena 16th August 2014 09:21 AM

^ it says 2000yen a year here
http://global-fc.net/kodagumi/pp_kiyaku/kiyaku/

I might register as well, it's always interesting to be part of her FC, I have had access to a friend's account for years, but I think being myself a member would be nice even though I don't consider myself a huge (and more a "regular") fan.

SKYia 16th August 2014 09:25 AM

I'm not happy that everything will be digital :|

2000 a year isn't much, is that the only fee?

Quote:

The Company shall calculate the fee each month based on the currency exchange rate when converting it into the foreign currency.
Why 'each month' ?

Corvina 16th August 2014 09:32 AM

Omg, 2000 Yen is absolutely cheap!
That`s a great offer.

it's probably just the exchange rate thing. They seem to be really thorough about all the translations lol

It's 2000 Y + 500 Y handling fee, so 2500, which is still....so much cheaper than I thought it would be~ Think I will do it when I get munnys.

Why 'each month' ?

I think it's if you pay in your own currency, the exchange rate changes daily depending on the value of the currency at a given time. It won't be a problem if let's say, you can pay using Paypal and then pay in Japanese Yen directly. I'm pretty sure they'll offer different payment methods and that might be why they might have to consider other options.

But yeah, 2000yen is really cheap for everything they have to offer. I'm pretty sure Koda Gumi registration fee is twice that price already ahahah. But it might also be because they can apply for tour lotteries which overseas fanclub probably won't be able to do.

Corvina 16th August 2014 11:01 AM

Yeah, I feel a bit bad for the japanese fans.
Koda Gumi is 4200 Yen a year.
And playroom is 324 Yen each month. Though playroom is enough, if you can live without having the choice to take every FC goodie (which is the only benefit Koda Gumi Japan has more than playroom).
Though the intenational fan club members don`t get physical stuff like the FC magazine shipped, just digital it seems.

@Utena:
There are ticket terms regulated in the general rules.
Don`t know if that mean we`re getting a ticket lottery, but it might be a hint.
At least I hope or I have to keep the japanese membership.

ayu_ready? 16th August 2014 12:22 PM

omo, is this even real?

pommy48 16th August 2014 03:24 PM

On the way home from the concert!
I've officially been reborn as a stan tonight lol

Minttulatte 16th August 2014 03:24 PM

I was wondering if I should join or not but decided no because it's really no use for me because I won't be buying any FC goods or single/album editions so...

It's cheap though. Cheaper than TeamAyu. I thought the membership fee would be the same with Kuu's! :O

Well with the Japanese branch of Koda Gumi and TeamAyu, there are physical goodies--magazines, the membership cards, seasonal greeting cards, etc. The int'l branch of Koda Kumi gives you digital access to everything, so there's no overhead to cover production costs. And if you use your membership to buy the FC edition of her releases, then that additional production cost is already built in to the cost of the item.

I'm waiting (not so patiently) for the email from them so I can finish registering. I find it a little ridiculous that their English site seems to be autotranslated by Google :irked Are you telling me they really don't have anyone on her staff that could just translate her blog entries rather than letting a machine do it?

In the instagram of Yuria Kushido, GYDA brand owner, she recently posted a snap of some white top with Koda Kumi x GYDA hinting a collaboration, probably, in the background you can see the wall of Kuu 'Bon Voyage'. anyone heard about this?

the caption to the photo is: Thank you! #倖田來未 #KodaKumi #KumiKoda #kodaGumi #倖田組 feat. @gydajp #GYDA She is such a nice person❤︎

pommy48 16th August 2014 05:36 PM

Yeah, they made the shirt look like what Kuu wore for the cover of Bon Voyage with the black straps

They were sold at the concert.

Short review cause I'm still in shock from the perfection (and I'm dead tired lol)
Spoiler:

We started lining up around 5 PM and only went in at 6:40. The concert started around 7:15. My feet were killing me, but I didn't notice they were hurting until after the concert cause the whole experience blocked out my pain!!!! (Section A didn't have chairs, so everyone just kinda crowded into messy rows)
She looked so perfect!!!! I was close enough that I didn't have to look at the screens!
The first section was good~
I started crying during Imagine though o_O
She had a short MC and asked if there were families with children tonight. If the music is too loud, then she said the staff can give them headphones. She also asked if couples came, first timers to her concert, or friends came in a group. She also asked if people were forced to come and some people answered, haha
Lady Go! was awesome with everyone jumping and waving their handlight around!
But OMG when the swag section came, I was reborn!
Crank Tha Bass was wow!!! The whole hall was just pumping! JADIS from OVDS performed too!
The whole last section was godsend. I was jumping and screaming so much that the people around me kinda backed away...probably cause I either keep hitting them with my handlight or stepping on them haha
She didnt perform LALALALALA, but she replaced it with Cutie Honey. Dancers from some Taiwanese show came and surprised her during the song. Apparently she signed an agreement saying they could be in her concert lol. Two of the dancers said they wondered if they could hug her. After the hug, she said her husband is here, so she asked us to check her cheeks for kissmarks.
After walk (the last song), everyone started singing the chorus of Ai no Uta (Chinese version) and she came out just bawling...She tried to sing along with us, but she was crying too much. She thanked us once again.
This was just an amazing concert put on by an amazing artist! She just kept on singing and dancing and just wow! She's so charismatic and owned that stage! Definitely the QUEEN OF LIVE!!!!!
Oh boy, do I look forward to losing my voice tomorrow morning...but it was worth it!!!!!!!!!
Kuu, I stan for you! I stan for you hard now!!!!

SKYia 16th August 2014 07:09 PM

^ Nooooo, I wanted LALALALALA, not Cutie Honey :( Otherwise, sounds great, I'm just wondering which concert will come on DVD. Btw, the tour is over-over? No more dates?
