I hope her voice on the yesterday performance was better than 22nd ! ;)
Her vocals on the medley were just horrible...! :(

AyuGAME 24th August 2015 02:21 PM

I really love her current figure...sexy and full...looks healthy and glowing..

yamadashun 24th August 2015 03:03 PM

I am sorry to say that after watching the live performances on a-nation, I am confirmed her NHK's SONG performance was vocally edited. Unless there's some miracle happening to her throat that night...

They can't edit how she sings.

I think people give edits too much credit as as much as editing goes they can't edit a whole new singing or a whole different singing.

They can edit what they have, not replace it.

I think on second day she did good job just like SONGS performance...

different sound system, different venue...different result on what we hear as well...

If the show is edited, then I see no point of her singing the song twice during the recording as mentioned by some of the fans who went for the live.

Ayu isn't a robot... she can have a bad day or be exhausted.

Mari-chan 24th August 2015 04:19 PM

Has there been a third show today... or will the third show be next weekend?

~angel*ayumi~ 24th August 2015 04:25 PM

Sheer idiocy. XD I watched Departures but then got distracted by something. Probably one of my cats.

Just Found an awesome way to avoid copyright strikes, but I still need to wait 12 hours for sure because I will upload to my main account :D

They can completely remove Ayu's live vocals from the mix and have her dub them over in a studio with studio editing. That's how a lot of dialogue is done in movies too.

i read from instagram, one of JSB's fan wrote to review the whole concert. she also mentioned that Ayu's voice in real concert was great (she wrote "歌うまかった" ) but it was quiet bad when she watched on TV.
I'm so glad to read positive comment like this ^^

She needs to do that with DEPARTURES then release it on a new album.

It's also a very common practice to record more than one date (or in A-nation's case) the dressed reharshals and make a mix of the best audio AND video parts of each recording.

That's why using the official DVD as a base to say if she sang well or if she sang live is useless.

Using a mix of dates where she did better in editing is different though and it's still her singing that.

They could record a studio live versions but I'm not sure how often it's really to that extent.

Andrenekoi 24th August 2015 09:59 PM

^As ExodusUK said, pretty common. :P Even in movies because not always the microphones on set capture the actor voices on the best way possible.

I enjoyed the Departures performance despite the vocals not being her best. And it was nice to see Naoya again - he was looking great with the brown hair. I much prefer it to the blonde.

Also Ayumi (and Kumi) were looking hot!

And thank you to YukiUsagi for uploading Kumi's and Ayumi's performances! I managed to catch them before they were taken down.
