I must admit that her voice on Happy Ending on the shows I went to are pure love. She sounded so much My Story~(miss)understood era Ayu. Wish they'll release the dvd sooon! Just can't wait. And oh, i swear i'll try my best not to DL the TV version when wowow will air it... lol

luna7996 7th July 2015 05:29 AM

truehappiness 7th July 2015 05:43 AM

tokyoxjapanxfan 7th July 2015 07:34 AM

Unpopular opinion: I LOVED the Anything for you ~ forgiveness ~ progress section. It was probably my fav part of the concert along with HAPPY ENDING.

Happy ending is amazing live, very nice choice.

Discussion about people giving away free tickets/ selling them for 1000 yen to fill arenas for this tour so that Ayu's pride wouldn't be hurt. I don't know if it's really true, but no doubts Ayu has a decline in tickets sales.

I heard something like that in the past. :headache

ayumisrael 9th July 2015 05:06 PM

I think that this whole thing is kinda wierd.

avex wouldn't let her keep performing in big venues and sell tickets for 1000 yen to fill it just for ayu's pride. Things don't work that way.
They won't lose money just for ayu's pride. If things were that bad she wouldn't have many dates/perform in smaller places.
It's really fishy.

Who are those people you are talking about? Are they avex staff or fans?

AyuGAME 9th July 2015 06:28 PM

My friend tried to buy the ticket from Lawson several days before the concert but it's sold out..

mizuki-7 9th July 2015 07:40 PM

Yeah these days when Ayumi promotes something or is active there are one article per day published by these fishy tabloids to explain to us how miserable Ayumi is compared to 10/15 years ago ...

Who knows what happen behind the scene but Avex selling at a loss just for the pride of Ayumi ?? It's stupid !! The fact she has difficulties to sold out immediately all of her shows is true since 2012/2013 but come on ! Ayumi and Avex are not a non-profit organization and her staff don't work as volunteers ...

chocopockymaster 9th July 2015 09:30 PM

The performance of WARNING was so damn good.

~dreamy sigh~

Most likely not true.

Girlschannel seems like a female tailored version of 2ch which is known for similar topics. I mean just looking at the other threads there, it's hard to take them seriously.

You're probably talking about the final date which is the most popular one, other dates might not be sold out.

Well, if most people buy tickets for the full price and there are some tickets left that might be given away for free, AVEX can still make money and Ayu doesn't have to see gaps in the audience and can continue performing in arenas. Who knows. I believe that she has hard times selling tickets in smaller cities.

It could be better if it was not lip synced. The vocal track she used had some very off-key parts. The performance looked good visually though, I have to admit.

I reaaallly don't think tickets for concerts would be given away for free just because. Sure, there are cheaper scalped tickets or resold ones, but just given away on the street? I don't think any artists really do that unless the concert was free to begin with.

Well wasn't it reported in mixi that in the first two dates at Saitama Super Arena, quite a few sections were completely blocked off? You can't blame the casual Ayu fan though, she practically has been using the same stage since 2005 with minor variations here and there. Premium Showcase was different but not usable everywhere, and the 4-sided stage was only ever going to be used once. She also recycles a shit tonne of stuff in her shows. All the concert staples, even this year, Forgiveness, recycled, GAME+ my name's WOMEN, recycled, A Song For XX, that arrangement has been done many times. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED seeing all of those performances, but for the casual fan that wants something different and new each year? Why would I bother going every year for a predictable show?

truehappiness 10th July 2015 03:07 AM

I think casual fans want to see the older stuff. It's a bit jarring unless you are a hardcore fan to have tons of new material in a show.

Ermm this year's arena consist of too many songs and you can't expect them to come up with new arrangements for all songs in 1 concert. they needed more time for the rehearsal so it's easier to do things that they had done before.
