I miss her too. I get really happy and then instantly sad every time Christmas Wish rolls around on shuffle.

I was recently wondering if she's enjoying her retirement lol But I miss her a lot too. Haven't been able to listen to Finally (song) again, it's too sad, though I'm hooked on disc 1 from the Finally best album. I've also been going through her past singles and just listening through them, I'm really loving ALARM/STROBE currently.

STROBE is an absolutely underrated gem of a song tbh

Exist For You FTW!!! She has some amazing b-sides that I wish got more playtime as far as performances.

I guess I got an overdose of her with listening her too much/seeing the final tour, that after her retirement, I've taken some time off, processing it all :D I'm sure "she'll be back" in my head after a while hahah.

After her retirement I got into soooo many songs that I didn't give a chance of loving before. According to my LastFM, I listened to BRIGHTER DAY and STROBE almost 300 times :yes
Put'Em Up, himAWAri, Handle Me, As Good As, Gimme More, Exist For You, Drive, Fighter, CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK and Mr. USA are the ones that I never paid attention before and got into pretty hard. She owned my year in every single way :luv2

^ nice. I got more into her Super Monkey's stuff recently. I'm actually loving the guitar work on so many of them. Also I'm currently watching PLAY tour. I always loved this sort-of-acoustic version of Can You Celebrate?. The version of Darling from PLAY tour is seriously underrated as well.

Since her retirement, I have been able to start listening to her older albums again. I actually didn't listen to anything when she announced her retirement, for the entire year nearly until the tour released.
But I think I am passed the stages of grief and I am really happy that she can be a private citizen like she wants lol and I think I have come to terms with it LOL. I still really miss her and it makes me sad when her music pops up on shuffle.
We have such a treasure trove of great music, from her early days and all the b-sides we got. Recently was listening to her Suite Chic album. Without me is my favorite!

I love Aishite Muscat, it's my fave Super Monkeys song by far.. and I paid more attention to Tayo no SEASON that I always hated before haha
