WOW!!! this certainly shocked me!! but i think its rather strange. 2 singles and an album released way before her previous albums were released. and a sudden increment in the total no. of songs from 7 - 14!! :D:D:D:D but i will take it ! so excited right now!!

Avex certainly fooled us. The way they phrased it was deceiving. "The 2nd mini album since Memorial address in 2003......"

No, someone in the other thread told me that the Oricon year has been extended for a further 2 more weeks. Ayu's sales would be counted in the 2006 sales. :shrug

Actually, alternarist.. that was the plan. To release a mini album like Memorial address.

But Ayu just recently was like:
"I want to make a full album."

As stated in wikipedia, it's not known whether this is a last minute decision or a deliberately pulled publicity stunt.

Makes sense. Sounds like typical Ayu. She said once in an interview that if she's given three months to do the album, she'll end up cramming it all into the last three days! XD Procrastinator! I love her! (XD I'd probably do the same thing). Not to mention, (miss)understood sounded like it was planned, written, and recorded all in a week. She had her single songs, and then threw in all those GEO compositions. This doesn't seem that much different. I'm surprised that it's not 16 tracks, but given the time frame, it's expected, I guess. (haha did that even make sense? lol). I hope she includes a few interludes, too. It'd be nice if she had 7 new tracks on top of the ones she was going to use for the mini, and then rounded it out to 16 in total after including interludes. I'm so excited for her, and it seems that she's really got her creative edge back! This whole situation SCREAMS "Ayu!" and I think that's why everyone is so pleased with it. She's taking complete control over her career and doing things her own way, and I think it's safe to say, we're all happy that she's doing that. Gives me a pang of nostalgia -- reminds me of the good ol' days, when anything Ayu did made (or broke =O) my day! Needless to say, I'm a very happy boy right now! w00t~ AYU I LOVE YOU!

oh yes. and I think it's funny that the theme so far is "Secret." She might just be using it as a front to build up hype so she can change everything last minute -- album length, theme, title, the works! XD This is so exciting!!!!! Can't wait! ^O^

So I expect Secret to be really awesome. Like greggerz said, Ayu is really taking control. So expect a totally Ayu-ized album. :D The thought of it is exciting. A month to go.
