I actually really hate the song. The music, mixing, vocals, and lyrics sound just like mariah carey. when the chorus came around the voice actually sounded the same o_o. i don't like mariah carey or similar styles, and i think the song is boring. did anyone else see this resemblance?

Maemi 7th January 2009 10:19 PM

When she sings "One in a million" it reminds me of Aaliyah ;(

^I think so of them are saying it sound like MC/Rihanna/OneRepublic because of the piano parts in the song and the fact it's a slow pace song/R&B. :rolleyes They aren't that much alike like some them are making it out to be tho especially since different keys are being played.

AyUta 8th January 2009 01:48 AM

Oh well, I like it and that's that. I think it's a great song :) I have a feeling she will actually get somewhere with this.

^ COOL! Glad to finally have a release date! I'll look forward to that!

Yoo Bin 8th January 2009 02:05 AM

Woot! yay! So happy they are finally starting her career up again. I'm glad we are getting all of this info now. lol I thought it was going to be another month before stuff really got started off. I'm gonna join her mobile service and myspace.

Hmm, I guess her album will have the same package as Exodus. I think I'll just stick to buying her album in America even if the Japan release gets juicy stuff that I'll like to have.

Thank you so much Ayuta.

AyUta 8th January 2009 02:07 AM

^ No problem guys :grouphug

I can't wait~! :heart I'm so going to buy it. Best Buy is my best bet.

Yoo Bin 8th January 2009 02:13 AM

^I hope Target or Wal-Mart run some type of special promotion. Something like they did with I Am... Sasha Fierce w/ the whole free new songs on itunes. I'd love that. :heart

kang daesung 8th January 2009 02:15 AM

Beauty4123 8th January 2009 02:32 AM

OMG AN ALBUM DATE ALREADY?! AHHHHHHHHH. :thud

Yum!Fruit_Salad! 8th January 2009 02:35 AM

Seems like Island Records and Hikki are being more serious about her release this around.
Hopefully Wal-Mart will have more than one copy and it won't sit there for years. :laugh
Gotta go listen to "Come Back To Me"

Zeke. 8th January 2009 02:36 AM

I got the "one copy" at my local Wal*Mart as well. Lol. It was just a few short days after the release.

Agreed. I seriously hate this "music elitist" attitude Americans who ONLY listen to J-Pop seem to have. It's like, to them, anything in English = horrible music taste. Get over yourselves, and give REAL reasons as to why you might not like the song.

Another thing, I really don't get why people think she has to be "OMG deep" 100% of the time. Uh, she's human like the rest of us, and I'm pretty sure all of us aren't deep all the time. So neither is she.

I agree with what you're saying, and I understand where you're coming from, but I just don't think the song is up to par.

I think there are some awesome ballads out there that are in English that American artists have put out, and I just wish this one was better in it's initial composition, I wish it had a better melody, and I wish it was arranged so that it didn't sound so "normal".

But that's just me, because I expect a certain amount of quality from her and originality in at least some aspects of all of her songs, and it's a bias that I will always carry around...so, it shouldn't really mean anything to anyone else.

But I mean...it's fine what she wants to do.

I do enjoy her vocals on the track though. I think she has an interesting sound with this type of music.

I think it's okay that some people don't like the song. People don't have to, and I wouldn't expect everyone to.

thanks for all the news you guys.

I think the lyrical content in EXODUS didn't helped matters . I frankly was shocked when I saw the lyrics inside the CD booklet when I bought EXODUS

I was going WHAT especially for The Workout :dead2
