O_O the outfits are quite simple this time round. Hmmmm...

Setlist:

I am glad that ayu sang all songs in NEXT LEVEL. Although a large portion of the songs in the setlist were recycled from PCDL, i didnt mind at all. They are songs that are rarely performed. So for them to be performed again, i am happy. If they are performed in a totally brand new manner, i am even happier! But unfortunately, they were not. So i am just fairly excited.

Costume:
I am disappointed with the costumes not because most of them were recycled, but rather, there isnt any "wow factor", considering that this is suppose to be the NEXT LEVEL tour, literally.

The costumes were seen before. ayu merely changed the colour of the costume.

Rule costume - from Rule PV
EnergizE costume - cute and sexy. But no wow factor.
Sparkle costume - PCDL Real me costume
HOPE or PAIN costume - HOPE or pain costume (only difference in colour)

I still miss the AT05 concert where almost every costume there is the wow factor like having the "light bulb dress" and "70000 crystal dress" and the "sexy SM outfit".

Now its shiny jacket with pants, skimpy dresses that were worn again and again.

I am curious about the grey outfit. Which song was it for?

I agree. I mean, its kinda like how much lower do people need to set their expectations before it becomes ridiculous to be doing such in the first place?

That said, what I like about the tour: I'm excited I will get to see Everywhere Nowhere for the first time, the concert goods are way better than the last few, cheap tickets for once, (:)) she looks in great shape, I like most of the outfits with the exception of a couple I just don't like that they are such obvious rehashes - shows a lack of preparation to me. I would normally like the fact that it seems this tour is scaled back and less of a production, but I don't like the fact that it seems the dancers take center stage more than ever before and the band is pushed even further to the background - Ayu's best moments are when its just her and the band.

That's what i think too...and if this is the reason, then there really sin't much to complain about except that imagine buying PCDL and AT09..you'd feel like you are watching the same concert lol.

But then again...PCDL DOES sorta becomes a prelude to AT09 in this case...

I actully like the wig thing because it fits in with the retro/futuristic robotic theme which is what NEXT LEVEL is alllll about. but i dun like her costume for that because its kinda recycled...

The santa costume is really cute haha.

I think so. I think she removes the bigger dress for Days..because Days was mostly in the mermaid dress

if u see her boots from LOVE 'n' HATE then later in evolution...ARE THEY THE SAME BLACK BOOTS?!...and the split pants was in In The Corner then later appears in evolution & Sparkle...zzzz that's quite disappointing

Some of these outfits remind me of Ayu from 2002! (lol) HOWEVER!!! I don't like that purple sparkly costume!! >.< It looks horrible!! D:

buying the PCDL dvd concert plus NEXT LEVEL the album will be like buying the dvd of this concert. lol

ok. some of the costumes are pretty cool. but so far it looks like there's nothing extravagant (like huge dresses are large flying objects).. that would be disappointing :/

the wig is hideous. The costumes are ok, I liked the last year's ones better. Some of these are kinda recycled.

About the costumes. I was thinking like this. Because with the grey outfit she does the same moves like she does in Sparkle PV. Maybe that one was for Sparkle performance??

So in all for me I guess:
rule/UNITE!: black leather with jacket
EnergizE/AUDIENCE. the red cheeleader outfit
L&H/ID: purple glitter jacket with trousers.
in the corner: tosses the purple jacket of a la PCDL and have that black outfit with same trousers and the red tie and a hat.
HorP/GREEN/Days: white jacket and later the pink dress.
Evolution/Signal: the black this silver corset
rollin/sparkle: the grey oufit.
Next level: glittery with outfit.

^actually...u make sense too..but she had the LadyGAGA glasses in the sprkling costume too...

I quite....like how this AT feels toned down actually...but that said, I would love some innovation

I don't mind ayu reuse older stuff, but putting songs sang in PCDL into AT09 makes me feel the PCDL is not that Premium at all, also makes feel AT09 "it's not that next level" too

and her outfits....probably a great cut in budget, maybe coz this year is less worth to make something special??

I really hope the grey outfit is for Sparkle, the purple one with wig is too clownish for such a sexy song (although it doesn't fit identity / L'n'H either).

On the other hand, when in that purple outfit she makes moves as if the audience was singing some parts, is it possible with identity / L'n'H? or there's also some old song being sing in this outfit I wonder?

I never expected to say this but the outfits look really recycled. Shame on avex on being so cheap with one of their best artists :eviltongu Yet they'll still go to great lengths to milk the fans with a ton of releases.
