It might not even be a new song...
its just known one of Utada's songs is being used as the theme for the new Evengalion movie.. for all we know, it could be one of her older songs already released, or even just a remix of a previous song... there isn't any solid proof this is going to be a new song, for all we know they could be using Stay Gold again -w-;; |

Where did "Stay Gold" come from? It was never used. It's so random to start considering it now.

Oh ok. Well it just occured to me how they've said the new song will be available for download and radio play today/tomorrow as well so that leads one to believe it's a new song. Wouldn't make sense to do that for an old song unless they remix it.

It might be a remix of a track of This Is The One, so they can release it as a re-cut single and get some more album sales for TITO.
Just like they did with Prisoner of Love (+ Quiet Version) re-cut single release, that also helped boost HEART STATION sales. Except now TITO really needs a boost, while HS already had huge sales. But I'm still hoping for a brand new song! :D |

Still nothing? If it went on sale to online retailers on the 27th in Japan, it's definitely been on sale for hours now, right? Where is it?! I'm getting so antsy. Has anyone checked the Japanese iTunes or was it online being released to a few certain places? I keep coming online and checking, just to be disappointed. >.< Oh well, patience, I guess... |
So supposedly it's not suppose to be released until around NOON in Japan and it's only like 7:04AM there now so all hope isn't lost yet.

There was lots of remixes for Beautiful World (or whatever that song was called) when I was around Akihabara in Japan. There was a slow re-sung one (that's what it sounded like to me) and a faster upbeat techno one. I heard other ones but can't remember what they were like.
